Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Congress Shall Make No Law

I have been reading about the recent NSA decision handed down by U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor

Judge nixes warrantless surveillance
By SARAH KARUSH, Associated Press Writer
Thu Aug 17, 7:33 PM ET
DETROIT - A federal judge on Thursday struck down President Bush's warrantless surveillance program, saying it violated the rights to free speech and privacy, as well as the separation of powers enshrined in the Constitution.

There are few things that jump out at me for one the First Amendment states:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

So I am curious. What Law did Congress make?

As for the separation of powers, since the First Amendment refers to Congress and not the Executive Branch, isn't that separate enough for her?

In any case no one wants to keep Islamic Terrorists from exercising their Right to Free Speech or Assembly.

As a matter of fact we really do want them to talk. We just would like to hear how they plan to blow up innocent men, women and children.

We also are in favor of them Assembling, as long as we have some idea where it might be. Makes it easier to put bullets between their beady little eyes and protect the lives of some innocent Men, Women and Children.

Judge Taylor claims the NSA surveillance might have a "Chilling" effect on journalists communications overseas.

Wow some terrorist might be afraid we will get a bead on them, if they talk to a reporter in the US?

I DO hope the Progressive Liberals are not silent in their proclamations of victory over our attempts to wage 4th generation War against those who wish to kill and/or enslave us.

I wish them as well to be able to exercise their Rights of Free Speech and Assembly with Islamic Terrorists.

I want the American People to be able to Hear and clearly Understand who it is they give support and aid to.
