Church Programs

Children and youth come FIRST at First Christian. We emphasize an active and full year of learning, recreation, and group building activities for kids of all ages.

Our church has an active and exciting program for Seniors, involving trips, lunches, and special events.

First Christian Church plays an integral part of the Henderson Ministerial Association, regional Disciples organizations, and a number of community based social action and worship groups. As a result, our church hosts many special groups and events through out the year. Our facility is used by such groups as AA and the Boy Scouts. Members of the church staff are actively involved in such worthy organizations as Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross.
