Roof Sheathing & Trim

Perry and John set up the scaffolding and plank to do the roof sheathing and started in on this huge task

The east side of the barn was done first. It was a difficult start the roof is steep, 9 on 12.

Alexandria came over to watch and supervise Pops and Perry.

Next the west side of the barn was the mission.

They have the system for sheathing the roof down to better sequence and the progress is swift.

It is a high ridge and the work is tedious, but as a team they do an outstanding job!

Working alone, John started on sheathing the gable ends. The gable in the front with the circle top window, then the one in the back.

Next, more detail work is the order of the day. John made and put up rake boards, fascia boards and "pork chops" to add to the finished look

Now we are waiting for the next load of building materials.
