Perry, Keith and John set up the scaffolding and plank. John rigs up a support system and the first sets of rafters are in place. A shot from the inside of the first section looks like a real roof frame. It was slow going in the heat as John worked alone. Once Perry was there to help, the progress was swift. |

Framing in the gable ends gives the barn more shape. The inside ceiling is strengthened by support struts, so that it can have a wide open space on the barn floor. It was cooler today, but too windy to do sheathing. |
