Are you Ready to live?
To truly live is to become a servant and work for God through all that you do and say, the way He says too,
when He says to, how He says too,
even if He tells you to sell all that you have and go from door to door, town to town, witnessing as the deciples of old did.
Now again I ask are you ready to live?
No I am NOT saying to do this, or that He is telling us too either,
I used this only as an example of what could be a circumstance in our lives.
We all enjoy living don't we?
Going about our daily routines, going places, doing things.
This is only a small spectrum of our lives though.
Would we really be willing to live 100% for Him, for His kingdom if the call were to come?
Now the hardest question to answer is are you ready to die?
Should the call come today for your life would you be ready to die?
No I want to livelonger you say!
sure we all do BUT are you ready to die should the call come?
Would you accept the fact of dying or would you be scared and upset?
What about your spouse or loved one are you ready for them to die?
Are you ready to accept the fact that they will be called out of this world?
You must first be ready to live as I said above; no matter what the circumstances of that living might be in order to be ready to die.
I am just as selfish as the next person in this old world about wanting to keep loved ones with me, but you know what,
I had to come to realize that I was doing them and myself a great injustice by my desires to keep them if it were time for them to go.
I want to live too but if God decides that it is time for me to go them I will accept that as a natural thing and not worry about it,
not be afraid of it and give Him thanks for it and the same if it is one of my family members
I will accept it and not hinder by my selfish desires to hang on to them.
God has a plan for me and whatever that entails I will thank Him and give Him all the glory honour and praise.
I will not stand in the way of God's great plan for my life or anyone else’s life.
Delbert and I were sitting out on the front porch talking and I asked him what he had decided about a particular subject and he told me,
and I told him, as you noticed I did not give you my thoughts either way;
I let you come to your decision without my input and he asked me what I thought about it,
and I told him it is not my call to make either way even though my thoughts were the same as his
but even still;
I could have argued a different view with him and caused him to change his decision and then I would have been hindering.
Its like I told him I would like for you to live and be here with me and us both go together when Jesus comes BUT if God's wants to take you or I ,then I accept that and go on as I have to do.
What is important in this life I told him is that we are ready to live and should we die then we are ready to die also,
that we are ready to give Him our life but that we are ready to give Him our soul as well.
Living for Him is fine but some want it to stop short at death, they are afraid to die and do not want to give up.
It does not matter to me if I live or if I die as long as I do what God wants me to do in both circumstances.
You see if I were a sinner then yes I had best be worried about dying and not wanting to die till my heart and soul are right with God.
So many people fear death.
Death is nothing to fear only sin is.
Death is not what takes you to hell, only sin does.
Isn’t life the most beautiful thing you ever saw whether it be in living or dying as long as it is God’s will?

Hurricane Jeannie hit Puerto Rico, a place where it is abnormal for this type of thing to happen.
Charley ,Frances and Ivan and all these other hurricanes coming on strong back to back
causing the worst flooding people has seen in 40 years, taking many, many lives.
Coming from all directions destroying major crops such as peanuts and cotton.
Cotton is a $619 million crop in Georgia, peanuts, a $350 million crop, Frances, caused an estimated $100 million in crop losses.
Frances estimated damage is close to 25 percent of Georgia's cotton crop and Ivan could put the total losses to 30 percent or more.
We will see price increases from this damage as well which will put even a harder burden on the economy.
We had a small earthquake here in Kentucky yesterday measuring 3.7 on the scale.
We are not known for earthquakes even though we are on the fault line. We were told earthquakes in divers places were we not?
Mr 13:8
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
When are we going to listen?
When are we going to do what God told us, and keeps telling to do?
Take your mind back to when you were a little child going to church with your parents.
What were your parents doing?
Were they sitting on a nice padded pew yawning trying to stay awake,
NO they were earnestly praying for other folks for their salvation and for their healing!
They were down on their knees pouring out their heart to God with tears streaming down their faces.
I remember many a time walking into my mothers room and finding her there on her knees praying for someone and most times that someone was us unruly, unsaved children.
We realized what was happening and had a great respect for this in our mothers life so we would quietly back out and slip the door closed not interrupting the conversation taking place.
Our praying mothers and Grandmothers are what shaped us and protected us throughout our wild days of youth.
They set a standard for us to go by, a guideline.
They built a solid foundation and what have we done with this when we grew up and had children of our own?
Most of us have chosen not to continue with these standards and thus a sinful rebellious nation has been allowed to erupt.
People it is time we get down to business in our walk with God and stop being the soft pew setters.
We have only ourselves to blame for the sinful state of our world today.
We have broken the chain that our grandparents worked so hard to build, a chain of faith,hope, charity and love.
A prayer chain, a healing chain, a salvation chain .
My husband has told you nothing but the straight truth from God Himself in his devotional yet you will not accept it as such because it goes against what you have been taught by your pastor.
Does your pastor decide who goes to heaven or does God?
God and God alone does.
If we were talking and listening to God we would not have a problem accepting
because we would be able to hear what He has to say directly to us and discern the matter easily and discard that which is not of God without any problems of traditions or teachings or friendships etc.
The destruction that my husband speaks about is destroying a third just as the bible tells us.
Don't take my word for, go research the destruction's for yourself that have been occurring since 2001 and continuing to occur.
You have access to a computer or a library go check it out yourself.
Go look up crop damage, home damage, land damage, lives lost in different areas, adverse weather patterns.
People we have been warned and warned and warned.
Time is nigh at the door, you better be ready because it is in the final countdown.
I for one am not going to let a pastor keep me from being with my Lord and Saviour.
I intend to be ready for the coming of my precious Saviour.
I proudly say that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life and not a pastor, a preacher, a deacon or a friend is going to be a lord to me.
It is time to WAKE UP MIGHTY SLEEPING WARRIORS and start fighting the battle of witnessing and praying that our grandmothers and mothers fought for us down on their knees.
Get away from that TV program, away from that DVD, away from that CD,
away from that game, away from that radio music, away from that club, and get busy doing what GOD said to do,
witness, and warn people of His coming, lead the lost to salvation,
heal the sick, feed the poor and hungry soul with spiritual food as well as natural food.
Get out of the worldly habits and get back to God where you belong.
Come back to the close loving, fellowship with God so you will know who is telling you the truth.
