Christianity is being silenced more and more every day, every time you turn around you see a bushel being put over a light trying to keep it from shining.
We need to shine now more than ever children of God.
As you go about your daily tasks praise and worship God, let your light shine brightly.
When things go wrong, instead of complaining turn around and lift your voice in praise, let your light shine brightly.
If you smash your finger don’t grumble and holler, lift your voice in praise instead, let your light shine brightly.
If your car breaks down, don’t despair and complain, give God thanks for delaying you from something worse ahead, let your light shine brightly.
Lift your voice toward heaven today with praise and thanksgiving.
Don’t give Satan a door to use by complaining.
Lift your voice toward heaven in praise.
Hallelujah to His Holy name.
Glory, Glory, Glory to God Almighty.
I thank you Father for all of my trials.
I thank you Father for allowing me to run out of medicine so that I would forget to take the other one
preventing me from worse problems down the road.
Thank you God for looking after me.
Thank you God for the pain that allowed me to see you working in my life.
But most of all I just want to thank you for loving me so much that you sent your only begotten son
Jesus Christ to carry my sins upon Himself, to die for me so that I could have eternal life with you.
Thank you Father God.

Also how A lot of times my own messages apply to myself as much as the other folks out there.
Shadowhawk said that I should explain this issue to the group so that they can see how we are human too and get the same whippings and guidance as everyone else.
Sometimes we put people on a pedestal and forget that they are human and I want to make sure that this does not occur where we are concerned because we can falter too.
We are not special nor above reproach.
I ran out of the medicine for the GERD and did not have the money to buy it so I was relying on samples from the doctors office, which have always been there on time until now.
I always took it and my aspirin as soon as I got up each morning so that I would not forget them.
Well when I ran out of the prevacid I forgot to take the aspirin each day that I was supposed to be taking daily.
so I have missed about a week of aspirin now which I can now thank God for and should have in the first place.
A complete deer was brought to us Saturday and we knew that it must be processed quickly to keep from losing the meat.
So I done what had to done and came to get some things that I would need to help process this and in this process, I stretched a little bit too far and felt something tear; it only lasted a second so I didn't give it anymore thought and proceeded on.
I carried a 25 lb. bucket of water out there that would be needed and some other things.
We got the job done finally.
But the next morning I noticed a knot had came up at the heart cath incision site.
I thought this was normal because it happens during those but then later that evening it has swollen more and was getting sore.
so I called about it and the ER said it was normal that if it continued to bother me to come in.
well I didn't have much choice because the scab came off before it was time too and my husband said either I call or he would so I called .
They didn't waste any time, they had me to come on in to run an echo to make sure there was no internal bleeding.
The test showed that I had torn it a little bit but the blood had clotted quickly to stop any further bleeding and it will take several months to heal he said.
Now this is when I knew just how I had failed by complaining instead of being thankful that I had ran out of medicine.
You see if I had not ran out I would still have been on the aspirin that thins my blood
and it would not have clotted so quickly and there would have been devastating consequences.
I would have bled to death in a very short time because this is a main artery.
I am learning that no matter what the circumstance’s looks like to thank God for them because we do not see around that bend as I once wrote,but God does.
I hope this has been a blessing to someone today and helped you in some way.

Is my title all garbled up?
Well you know so is our lives as Christians.
We have three categories in the title and we will examine each one.
Superficial is the first one.
Superficial means top layer, only skin deep.
So many today have superficial salvation.
They may appear to be saved but what would we find if we examined the heart?
Now our next one is Artificial and we all know what that means, fake, put on, pretend.
Is this the salvation that you have?
Do you pretend to be saved to please others, to keep them off of your case?
Sorry folks that is not salvation!
The last one is Materialistic, which means desire for material things.
Now this one we are all guilty of to some degree.
We want things that will make our life easier and in this part there is nothing wrong with it.
Where the sin enters is when we want things that we do not need just to have it on hand or because someone else has it.
So many times I have seen people go out and buy something just because so and so bought better than theirs, better home, better car, better boat etc.
If my neighbor has a nice mink coat, a big diamond ring, a big boat down on the dock,
more money than I do, membership in the elite club etc.
and I want these things because they have it or to keep up with their status,
then I have allowed sin to enter in at this point.
If my stove is on the fritz and I want to get a new one then this is out of need and not desire so I have not sinned,
but should I want one that is much more than what I need and more than I can afford then I have allowed sin to enter in.
We need to examine our hearts and see exactly what kind of life we are living.
If we find something there that does not belong then we need to get rid of it by making the changes needed and put in what should be there.
Yes I to need to examine my own life to make sure it is right after all I am flesh too.

I am so thankful for the life that I have.
Darkness comes our way but my Lord Jesus Christ sends the sun to wash it all away.
I thank God that I am saved.
I thank God for all the things that I have.
I thank God for my warm home, my family and friends.
So many people are out in the cold this very night with no warm place to call home.
I thank God for my warm relaxing soaks in the tub and the luxuries that I have to add to it,
so many do not remember what it is like too take a nice warm soapy bath much less a relaxing soak.
I thank God for the food in my cupboard.
So many do not have a table much less food to put upon it even for one meal.
I thank God for the clothes in my closet.
A lot of folks have only the worn clothes upon their backs, which do not keep them warm.
Father God I pray that you send someone across the homeless persons path this night that will give them a warm shelter for the night, with a warm meal to nourish their cold body.
Father God help me to never lose sight of all the blessings that you bestow upon me and my family as we so often do in the rush of our day.
We grumble and complain when things get low but forgive us of our iniquities and help us to remember that there are those out there who have nothing Father and the things that we have would seem like the worlds richest to them.
Forgive me where I fail you Father and strengthen me so that I may strengthen others along my way.
Thank you Father for loving and forgiving me.

Why are you not letting Him in?
It is easy to open the door.
Are you too ashamed of the life that you are living?
He already sees what you are doing anyway!
Nothing is hid from God!
You keep asking for help, for answers to your questions.
How can He answer you if you will not answer Him?
You want Him to help you when you get in trouble but you want the help without any obligations on your part.
Well sorry friend it takes action on your part too.
A car will only run if you turn the key in the ignition to start it.
You have the key so why are you not using it?
Recognition, submission, repentance, acceptance these are the key's.
He cannot come in the door if you will not open it,
and He cannot help you from the outside looking in.
You have looked and looked for answers, you will not find them where you are looking.
To find what you are seeking you must recognize the fact that all are born into sin
and that Jesus Christ did die for you so that you can have life eternal
then repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your very own Lord and Saviour.
Now notice friend that I said LORD and SAVIOUR.
Yes He saved you by taking the place on the cross as the ultimate sacrificial lamb,
but He can only be Lord of your life when you totally submit your life to Him and let Him take full control.
You take the passenger's seat and let Him do the driving
and you will arrive at the right destination.
I don't know who you are but I know that God is talking to someone
and has been for a long time now.
Now is the time for you to get your answers and you know how to do that,
simply realize that you are a sinner and repent of your sins asking Him to come in to your life and take control.
Won't you open the door now?
Jesus is waiting to come in and help you.
Won't you let Him in now?
Jesus is the only answer you know.
Drugs, alcohol, suicide these are only the way to destruction.
Jesus is life eternal.
