Wrestler Bio: Bradley Scott Robinson was born August 31st, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In his early life he grew up idolizing his older brother Brian, who was a mid-card wrestler with multiple organizations in the Las Vegas area as well as southern California. Brad would accompany his brother to the arenas when his parents would let him. When Brad was 15 he joined his high school wrestling team. He competed in matches for school and in his spare time he would work out in exhibition matches with his brother. Brad continued to train with Brian and other wreslers in which Brian had competed against.
As soon as Brad graduated high school he decided to make the jump from amateur wrestling to professional. He turned down conuntless wrestling scholarships to major universities to follow in his brother's footsteps. Only six months after completing high school, he hired a wrestling coach, former TWA(Texas Wrestling Authority) champion, Brett Gonzalez aka "The Flying Assassin". The two of them trained twice a week for the next two years. Then as Brad was going to make his "big" debut, as his brother's tag partner, he suffered a major setback. Brian had an exhibition with Marcus Hunter, brother of EWCWF Superstar Max Danger. Brian set up Max Hunter for a routine piledriver, but put his head to far between his legs. Next, when Brian fell down to deliver teh piledriver he felt Hunter's head twist. He knew that the injury was serious. The piledriver had snapped Hunter's neck and he was pronounced dead on the scene. Brad took time off to console his brother, who quit wrestling indefinitely.
Five months later, a small wrestling organization, based out of Phoenix contacted Brad to compete in several shows across the United States and in Canada. Brad excepted their invitation, hoping to get his foot in the door of professional wrestling. He showed great skill in his matches but was told he lacked a "flashy" finisher that could set him apart from the others. Brad went back and trained a few months with his coach, they spent their time searching f or a move that would take the wrestling world by storm. Brad finally decided on the "slingshot brainbuster". He once again started work with the same Phoenix promotion. Brad won a number of matches with the "slingshot brainbuster", but fought recurring knee problems. His knee problems lead to his eventual release from the organization. Brad had surgery to fix his knee and began rehab immediately afterwards.
As soon as his rehab was complete he was contacted by EWCWF, a small federation just staring out. Brad saw this as his big opportunity and signed with them. He knew that he had to develop a persona to be successful. Brad decided on "The Main Event". He knew that his finisher needed to be linked somehow to his persona, so after some fine tuning to the "slingshot brainbuster" he came up with the "Showstopper". He fought his way through the rankings in the federation on his way to becoming the World Heavyweight Champion......
