Interview with Hard Rock Higdon 1/11/2000

Interviewer: I am here with Hard Rock Higdon, former two time BCBW Backyard Champion. Now Hard Rock, first things first. Glad to have you here. BCBW has been absent as of late. What have you been doing during this "time off"?

Hard Rock Higdon: Well now that you've shut up. I'll tell you what's I've been doing as of late. Well as for time off I haven't been completely out of the ring but I can't really get to in depth about that or I could get in trouble with the BCBW officials. I've been working out at Synergy Gyms in Leitchfield, KY and have put on about 10 pounds of muscle. I have added some chain wrestling to my arsenal as well as many other moves and have been working on a 450 splash.

Interviewer: Well how old are you and what sports have you competed in other than wrestling? And o'yeah by the way what in the hell does that tatoo mean ROCK 77?

Hard Rock Higdon: Well buddy, I am 20 years old. And in high school I played football. I was a middle linebacker. Why the fuck does everyone wanna know what this tatoo means. It's my name and football number. Shit that is the dumbest question I have ever heard. If you don't straighten your line of questioning up I will walk my happy ass out of here.

Interviewer: Sorry man, I just ask what the fans wanna know.

Hard Rock Higdon: Well you know I don't give a damn about those fans. Interviewer: What has been your all time favorite match that you have competed in? Hard Rock Higdon: Hmmmmm... favorite match..... probably the first match I was ever in. No ring, no ref, just me, Red Dawg, and the camerman/commentator. It wasn't about flaunt your self around and doing this move and that move for the crowd. It was about who wanted to win more. It was before BCBW's popularity had grown to the point it is now. We didn't do shit to impress anyone but ourselves and to prove who the man of the backyard really was. Now we have a crowd to come to our shows. And we do shit for them as much as we do it for ourselves.

Interviewer: That's true when you talk about the BCBW's popularity growing. How many tapes have you all sold since you started selling them. And what is the biggest attendence to one of your shows.

Hard Rock Higdon: I think we have sold close to two hundred dollars worth of tapes and the biggest crowd we ever had was I think 73. I work hard for a big crowd.

Interviewer: That is more people than some independent promotions draw. So who is your all time hardest opponent?

Hard Rock Higdon: It is Red Dawg but that's all I'm gonna say. I don't like the little punk ass bitch and I'm not gonna give him any more credit than I just have.

Interviewer: Well I'm gonna mention three name's to you and you tell me what you think of them. Mr. Money Rich Stevens?

Hard Rock Higdon: Well as most of you know this is my former friend and stable mate Weasle. I don't really know what to think of him. He's developing great as a wrestler but he has a lazy streak in him. I guess it's the money that he inherited I don't know.

Interviewer: Spiral McStoots???

Hard Rock Higdon: I think it's good that he and Red Dawg have split. I kinda like this kid's heart. I mean he started out as a referee and has developed in to a near main event status. I saw him lose four matches on one card but he never quit giving his all. He's in the BCBW arena more than anyone else trainging with the Legendary Kevin T. This guy could be the one to watch in the year 2000.

Interviewer: Red Dawg????

Hard Rock Higdon: I think I said I was done talking about that pussy. And since you don't obey me this interview is over.
