It
has been reported that Scotty Clenney introduced boredom to an eight point buck
recently while bow hunting at Barren River Lake. While perched in her tree
stand, a nice buck wandered down a hill, jumped in the middle of a briar patch,
laid down and proceeded to take a nap for about 35 minutes. He was situated just
out of bow range. After his snooze, he got up, shook himself off, jumped out of
the briars and walked slowly back up the hill leaving Scotty drooling in the
tree. She said this was the first time she had ever put her audience to sleep
without ever uttering a word.
