Robert and Andrew took Madison out that night to a small Italian place near the hotel. They were seated quickly and Robert smiled over at his little sister, "So..how are you? Really.."
"I'm good..a little nervous of driving..but I'm good..How long are you staying here?"
"Till Thursday afternoon."
"Ohhh.."
"So..excited about Saturday night??"
"No..not really. I just don't want to see Ryan or Mary."
"Why not? Make them jealous..and I'm sure you will."
"How so? Andrew, don't make a mess."
"Sorry..," He said playing with his straw.
Robert wiped the coke off Andrew's face before continuing. "Well..make Mary jealous cause you look a hell of a lot better than she ever did. And make Ryan green with envy..because, look who you're going with."
Madison rolled her eyes, "So..I'm going with Kevin..big deal."
"Yeah..but look what Kevin has up against Ryan. Who is worth 25 million dollars? Kevin. Who has modeled for Versace? Kevin. Who was voted one of People's 50 sexiest People alive, or whatever it was called? Kevin. Get it now Madi?"
Madison nodded and smiled, "Yeah..I get it..and I really appreciate Kevin coming with me..I'm afraid no one would talk to me if he wasn't going.."
"What?"
"I was afraid I'd be stuck there by myself with no one to talk to. Now I've got Kevin and I'll have someone I know and can talk to."
Robert nodded as the waiter put their food down in front of them. "Thats true..but..Madison..I know how high school was for you. But..I want you to have fun."
She nodded, "I'll try."
"So..what is going on with you and the aforementioned man?"
Madison laughed and tried hard to hide the blush creeping up on her. "Nothing.."
"Nothing my ass Madison..come on..tell me..I want the gossip."
She rolled her eyes playfully and then looked at Andrew who was looking at her expectantly. "Yeah Aunt Madi..are you and Kevin in looove."
The two adults laughed at the four year old, who looked very proud of himself for making his father and Aunt laugh so hard. "No..I'm not in love with Kevin.."
"But is there something there?"
She shrugged, "Don't know.."
Andrew jumped up and down on the bed as his father tried to get him to calm down. "Andrew, lay down..time for bed now.," Robert said.
"No! I wanna go see Aunt Madi!"
"She's probably sleeping."
"I wanna sleep in her room!"
Robert sighed and picked up the phone and called Madison's room.
"Hello?"
"Mad? Its me..Andrew wants to stay with you tonight..is that okay?"
"Sure..I was just reading some e-mail..want me to come down there and get him."
"Would you?"
"Sure..I'll come down in a sec. K?"
"Alright."
He hung up and looked to Andrew who was jumping on the bed again. "You're gonna stay with your Aunt tonight. Okay Andrew?"
He nodded his head vigioursly, "Okay!"
There was a knock and Robert let Madison in. "Okay little monkey, get your stuff together and let's go down to my room."
"Okay!"
Madison looked to Robert, "Are you okay with this Rob?"
He nodded, "Yeah..lord knows I need my sleep."
She smiled, "What's up for you tomorrow?"
"I got a bunch of meetings..wanna keep him for the day?"
"Sure..I barely get to see him anyways..he's a fun kid Rob."
"Thanks Mad..I appreciate this.."
"No problem. The guys don't have a busy day tomorrow so it'll be easy to keep an eye on him."
Andrew came running back into the room, "I get to stay with you tomorrow too??"
Madison nodded and picked him up, "Sure do kiddo! Now, give you dad a big hug and kiss so he can get some sleep."
Andrew did that and then they left. Andrew laid his head on her shoulder as they walked down the hall. "Where's Kevin and the other guys?," Andrew asked yawning.
"I don't know..probably asleep or watching a movie.," She said as she unlocked her door.
"Ohh..okay.."
"Now, crawl into bed and I'll turn on a movie.."
Andrew crawled under the covers and held onto his stuffed bear as Madison searched for a decent movie on.
