Madison was sitting with Amanda and LeighAnne when Kevin finally pulled away from that annoying businessman and walked over to Madison. "Come dance with me.," He said quietly in her ear.
She nodded and he took her hand and led her towards the dance floor. Amanda and LeighAnne exchanged a look before speaking the same thing that was on their minds, "Yep..they're in love."
Madison almost laughed as she noticed Kevin's shaking hands. He put his arms around her waist and she settled into his embrace. "Why are you so nervous Kev?," She whispered so only he could hear.
"I have no clue."
"Oh come on, I've never seen you this nervous before, not even before the Grammy's. Tell me.."
He sighed, "I feel I have to live up to something with you.."
"What?"
"That didn't come out right. I mean, you make me feel so..different. I feel as if I'm 15 and going on my first date."
She smiled, "Well, relax. It's just me. And..just so you know? I'm nervous too."
"You are?," He asked surprised.
"Yeah..you can sure make a girl nervous."
He smiled and ran a hand through her hair, "I love your hair."
"Well.I'm glad someone does. Why?"
He pulled back a little so he could see her face, "Because..I can run my hands through it..its so silky and soft.."
She smiled, "Whatever floats your boat."
He grinned, "I know.."
Around 1 a.m., the BSB and the girls were finally leaving. Madison yawned and tried to hide it. Kevin smiled and put his coat around her shoulders as they walked into the cold night air, then he put his arm around her. "Where are we off to now Mr. Richardson?," She asked as they left the rest of the group.
He smiled softly, "I don't wanna ride all the way back with the guys soo..I figured we'd walk down here, grab some Chinese take-out, and catch the limo home."
"What limo?"
He smiled again, "I got one coming in..fifteen minutes."
"Ohhh..I see.."
They entered the small Chinese restaurant and Kevin ordered their food. As soon as it was ready, they grabbed the two bags and sure enough, waiting outside was a limo.
At home, Madison went upstairs to change into something else. Only, she had forgotten to bring any other clothes to Kevin's. "Kevin??"
"Yeah?," He replied from the kitchen.
"I forgot some other clothes..you have anything I could borrow?"
He appeared at the bottom of the stairs, "I'll look for something."
"Thanks."
He kissed her gently as he made his way past her and to his bedroom, "No problem."
She followed him and stood in the doorway as he went through one of his drawers. She smiled at him, he had taken off his tuxedo coat, untucked the shirt, undid the tie so it was lying around his neck, and taken off his shoes so he was only in socks. The cuffs of the shirt were undone and rolled up a little ways. He looked to be much more comfortable now. He turned to see her leaning against the doorway smiling at him. "Madi?"
"Yeah?"
"Here you go. And what are you smiling at?"
"You..you look so..much more comfortable now since we left the party."
"I am.."
She took the t-shirt and boxers from him, "Clean?"
"Yeah..I wouldn't give you dirty clothes."
She laughed and walked down the hall to the bathroom. "Just making sure."
Kevin went back downstairs to the kitchen. A second later he heard padded footsteps coming behind him. He turned around to see one of the most cutest sights he had ever seen. Madison's blonde hair was pulled up into a messy bun, his Kentucky basketball t-shirt was too big and hung to nearly her knees. He could just barely see the boxers peeking from underneath. She crossed her arms, "And what is so humorous?"
He walked to her and pulled her close to him, "I didn't think and woman could look so good in my clothes. They are a tad big though."
She laughed, "Oh just a little..but they're comfy and thats all that matters..now can we eat?"
"Of course..grab a plate and let's dig in."
Soon, they were sitting at the dinner table, eating and talking. After their 'late' dinner, they were watching tv on the couch when Kevin looked down to see Madison asleep in his lap. He smiled and flipped off the tv, before settling down on the couch to sleep.
