Kevin immediately took Madison's hand again and smiled at her, "So, you okay?"
She nodded, "Yeah..I'm fine."
"Want anything to drink?"
She shook her head, "No..don't be nervous Kev..it's just me."
He grinned and leaned closer so only she could hear. He whispered, "And thats what makes me nervous."
She looked at him curiously, but before she could ask what he meant, Michael had walked over and ushered him away. She sighed, turned around, and looked for Amanda or LeighAnne anywhere. She finally spotted Amanda going towards the bathroom and followed. Yes, women do have to go in pairs or groups to the bathroom.
Madison pushed open the door to see not only Amanda, but LeighAnne as well. They both grinned as Madison came in. "Well, looks like we all have ESP.," Amanda said fishing her lipstick out of her purse.
"Guess so. I'm afraid Kevin was dragged away from me just a second ago."
"Yeah..so did Brian and AJ and the other two."
"There's two others in the group??"
The three laughed Madison pulled out a small compact and checked her make-up. "Oh you look fine Madison. Quit worrying and being so nervous."
"You're right Leigh..but still.."
"He makes you feel like throwing up?," Amanda asked.
LeighAnne and Madison exchanged a look before laughing. "I guess so..I mean, this is like my first real big relationship in a loong time."
"I understand Madi..really..we both do. But, out of the spotlight, off the stage, he's a regular guy. And no matter what, you have to remember that.," LeighAnne said.
Madison nodded, "I do..I mean, I got to know them all before we ever started working together. I know they're regular people and I love the fact they can all stay like that too."
The other two nodded and Amanda smiled, "Yep..they'll get married."
"Married?? Umm..no Amanda."
"And why not? My prediction Leigh? Before the end of the year."
Madison rolled her eyes, "You two are awful."
The other two just laughed as they walked back out to the party.
Kevin looked around for Madison but couldn't see her. His attention was diverted again to the businessman that Michael insist they all meet. He suddenly caught a glimpse of Madison out of the corner of his eye, with LeighAnne and Amanda. He smiled inwardly, she was safe and looked comfortable. "So Kevin..."
The three women walked over to the refreshments table to grab something to drink. Madison was, again, staring at Kevin's back. "Geez Madison! Quit watching him!," Amanda chided.
Madison blushed that she had been caught and Amanda laughed, "I'm joking! It's weird, isn't it? There he is, sooo close, and you can't even go up to him."
She nodded, "Yeah..I hate that feeling."
"Me too..but damn, AJ be looking fiiine!"
Madison laughed, "Okay..now who's the obvious one!"
