LeighAnne and Madison talked the whole way to the restaurant. Once in front, LeighAnne paid the driver and the two gathered their purses and got out. "So...where would they be sitting?," Madison asked.
"Back room most likely..I'll call Lonnie..he should be there with them."
Madison looked around as LeighAnne talked to Lonnie. Inside the restaurant, it was kinda dark but not so that it was creepy or weird or something, it was romantic and comfortable. "Okay..he's coming to get us."
They both smiled as Lonnie came around the corner. "Hey ladies, I believe your men are getting anxious for your arrival. Hey Mads.."
"Hey Lonnie, how are ya?," She asked hugging the bigger man.
"Good, good. Keeping up with the guys and all that..how are you doing?"
"Pretty good.."
"All this chit chat is great, but I'm hungry!," LeighAnne asked impatiently.
"Yes..come on..."
The two followed Lonnie through the pretty crowded restaurant. Some poeple looked up as the two caucasion women followed an african-american, very big man through their tables. Madison tried not to laugh. LeighAnne looked at her questionably, "What/??"
"Look around...some of these people keep looking at us like we're under a microscope cause we're following big Lonnie here."
LeighAnne nodded and glanced around and then smiled, "Yeah...thats kinda weird."
Lonnie held open the door to the outdoor patio, "They're out the door and to the left."
"Thanks."
"Yeah thanks Lonnie."
They turned the corner and came upon the guys sitting around the table. Brian, of course, spotted the two first and jumped up to hug them both. The others, of course, followed suit. Kevin smiled at Madison, as he was the last to greet her, "Hey you."
"Hey yourself Mr. I promise I'll be the one to pick you up at the airport.," She teased as she sat down.
"I'm sorry Madi...some dumb photo shoot ran late or I woulda been there.," He said taking the seat next to her.
She ran her hand over his, "I know Kev..I was joking, I understand, really."
He finally smiled, "I'm so glad you're here with me."
"Me too."
Madison laughed as Nick told some story of how he accidently ran into Brian at one of the concerts and Brian almost fell into the sea of fans. They had been at the restaurant for almost 2 hours now and it had been nothing but fun. Keivn had ahold of Madison's hand and was playing with one of her rings, pulling it back and forth. "Ow! Okay, Kevin, thats the third time you've popped my knuckle, stop!"
He smiled, "Sorry."
"Well, quit doing it!"
He laughed, leaned over, and kissed her quickly, "Sorry, I'll stop."
"You better"
Soon, the group left in a black Escalade and went back to the hotel. Some of them wanted to go out and did since the next day was their day off. Nick, Brian, LeighAnne, AJ, one of the dancers named Krista, Howie, and another dancer named Monica, all decided to go.
Madison had kind of wanted to go but Kevin practically dragged her to his room. She sighed as he kissed her almost feverishly. She laughed and pulled back, "Couldn't wait, could ya?"
He smiled and pressed his forehead to hers, "Nope..its been too long.."
"You saw me last week dear.."
"I know..but still.."
She smiled and kissed him gently, "But I don't mind you kissing me like that..."
"Good..cause I probably wouldn't care if you did."
She pushed him backwards playfully, "You better care.."
"Sooo..what do you want to do?"
She shrugged, "Don't know.."
"You didn't want to go out with them, did you?"
"Not my first nigbt here, no, maybe tomorrow or something..I'm tired.."
Kevin pulled her backwards on the bed and she laughed, "I didn't say I wanted to go to sleep!"
He laughed and laid down on the bed next to her, "Do you really have to leave on Wednesday?"
"Yes..because Robert is sending Andrew down for a week and I want to spend as much time as I can with him."
"For real? Andrew's gonna go to Orlando?"
She nodded, "Yep. I plan on taking him to Disney and Busch Gardens and everywhere.."
Kevin smiled, "That sounds like fun..wish I could come and do that with you all.."
"Ooohhh..me too. That would be soo perfect."
Kevin sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "Sometimes I just wish I could be normal.."
"I think you are normal. You just have a very strenous and very fun and busy job."
"I know you know I'm normal; and I know I'm normal. But sometimes Madi, I feel like I'm pulled in sixty different directions."
She took his hand and laced her fingers through his. "I know Kev..and it has to be hard. And sometimes you need to take a step back and just live your life. You're 28 years old and deserve to live a life normally. Lord knows that for the longest time you've been living the life of a superstar...maybe you need a rest."
"So you want me to quit the band?!?"
"No! I'm just saying you need rest. I would never, ever, tell you to quit the group. I just don't want you to get burned out easily and all that..."
He smiled, "Okay...I thought for a minute there thats what you were saying."
She kissed him, "Not at all.."
"I do need a rest but the tour just started...maybe next month we'll get a couple days off."
She nodded, "Yeah...I know.."
