Chapter 17- Funny Feeling and Mixed Drinks

Madison held her cell phone to her ear as she made her way through the airport. "Yes Kevin, I know but you promised me there would be a ticket waiting for me..now how fair is it that you gave it to your make-up artist and not your girlfriend???"

"Thats not the point Madison."

"Oh hell its not Kevin. I call to make sure my ticket is still there just in case I wanna come out early and come to find out a Ms. Marilyn Cooper has it. Come on Kevin!"

"Whatever Madison, you're blowing this way out of proportion."

"Am I?," She replied before hanging up.

Madison took a deep breath and looked at the peice of paper in her hand for Tricia's gate number. 'Great, now you're 30 minutes late!,' She thought as she turned around and headed back the other way.

Madison missed Kevin terribly, everything at the club was cool and everything at home was fine but she just needed to see him. Today had been the first time that he had ever sounded annoyed to be talking to her. She had called the airlines to confirm an earlier flight and learned that the ticket had been given away to the boys' new make-up artist. Madison was seething, he hadn't even gotten a new ticket ready for her either!

Madison came to a stop in front of Tricia's gate and looked up at the small tv screen. Great, her flight had landed over 15 minutes ago. She could feel a headache coming on.

She looked around and finally found Tricia's tall frame by one of the windows. "Tricia!"

Tricia spun around, looked confused for a sec, but then saw Madison and grinned, "Hey girl! There you are!"

"I am soo sorry, I was running behind and Kevin's being an ass and I went the wrong way..and....and...I'm so glad you're here!"

Tricia laughed and hugged her best friend, "Me too girlie. Its okay, we all have bad days. Lets grab something to eat on the way home and you tell me why Kevin's being an ass."

She nodded and the two walked out of the airport and towards the black 4-Runner.

Tricia listened intently as Madison told her of Kevin's current strange antics. "It probably wouldn't of bothered me as much if he had like apoligized or something or said they had to use the ticket but he just sounded so annoyed to be talking to me and acted like I was the last thing he wanted to hear."

"Oh honey, maybe he's tired. The road has to rough as hell, he's tired and worn out and is probably just looking to take it out, and you happen to be that person right now."

Madison sighed and looked up towards the sunny sky, "I just don't want him to hate me."

"He won't hate you. He doesn't hate you."

She smiled a little, "I'm so glad I have you here to tell me that."

Tricia grinned, "Hey, a trip to Florida, what can I say??"

"Yeah.."

"So, you takin' me to your club or what tonight?"

"Sure am."

"Awesome."

Madison led Tricia throughout the club later that night. She left Tricia on the dance floor and went down to the office for some silence. She sat down in the big comfy chair and sighed, she had tried to call Kevin but his cell wasn't working. "Duh, he's onstage right now...call him later..," She muttered to herself.

She looked up as there was a knock at the door. "Come in.," She said expecting it to be Tricia.

Andrew walked in with a little smug smile on his face. Madison smiled up at his tall frame, "Yes Andrew?"

She had to admit, Andrew made her nervous, Marcos never did, he was like a big teddy bear but Andrew was like a waiting timebomb, with pink hair. Okay, too many drinks for Madison.

Andrew slid back some papers and propped himself up on her desk. "Nothin' really..just wondering what you're doing down here."

She shrugged, "Don't know..needed some thinking time..alone."

He stood up and walked around the desk, coming closer to her. He put his hands on her shoulders and pressed down roughly. "You're so tense..I think you need a massage."

Madison stood up as fast as her drunken state would allow, waay too many drinks Madison . "Don't put your hands on me ever again."

"Why not? You know you enjoyed it."

She took a step back as he stepped forward. "Andrew, stop it."

He grinned slyly, "No one can hear you scream, locked the door to the top."

She paniced inside, it was true, whenever the door that led from the office's to the club, it was soundproof just about, but with the music and everything, no one would hear her. But she wasn't going to let him see he scared her. "What do you want?"

"Madison, I think we all know what I want.," He said taking another step towards her.

Madison groaned as her back hit the wall. He was closing in on her and she had no way out. He reached out and kissed her roughly. She shoved him hard backwards and he fell across the desk. She took that opprutunity to run, and did. She heard him cuss and groan as he got up. She ran up the stairs, tripping a couple times, and finally to the door. Okay, now if only she could see straight to undo the lock. Andrew grabbed her around the waist and tried to pull her downwards. "No! Let..me..go!," She said fighting.

She went into shock as he threw her into the ground. She kicked, and connected, with Andrew. He fell to the ground in pain. She ignored the pain in her lower back and arms and legs as she got back up the stairs to the locked door. She finally undid the lock, pushed the door open, and locked it behind her. She wasn't going to let him get away with that. She stumbled through the crowd and found Marcos behind the bar. He looked up shocked at her, "Madi? What happened??"

She didn't answer as she blacked out.

Madison opened her eyes and groaned as sunlight flowed into her eyes. "Madi? Oh thank God!"

"Marcos??"

"Yeah sweetie, how do you feel?"

"I hurt."

"I bet..but you're gonna be okay..I'll go find your friend."

"ok."

Tricia groaned as she tried Kevin's number for the nth number of times. She finally decided on Nick's cell and dialed it, hoping he'd pick up. "Hello?"

"Nick? This is Tricia, Madison's friend, umm..Kevin isn't around is he?"

"Hey Tricia. No he went out with AJ and Howie..what's wrong?"

"Well..there seemed to of been an altercation at the club tonight with her and..some guy down in the offices..don't remember his name though."

"Marcos?"

"No, he's with me now."

"Ohh..Andrew??"

"Yes! Thats the assholes name! Anyways, she kinda blacked out and we brought her to the hospital..I wanted to tell Kevin."

"Is she okay??"

"Yeah..she bruised a couple ribs though."

"Ohhh...well..I'll umm..tell Kev when he gets in..thanks for calling Trish."

"No problem, tell Kevin that we should be at his house later this evening."

"Will do, bye Tricia"

"Bye Nick."

She had just hung up when Marcos came in, "Hey, she's awake."

"Oh good..find the doctor?"

"Thats what I was about to do, go on in."

Tricia walked into the small examining room, "Hey girl, how you feel?"

"Like crap.."

"Least you got away from that creep..I'm sorry Madi."

She smiled weakly, "Not your fault Trish. Someone got him, didn't they??"

"Sure did..one of the bouncer's went down there and found him pretty beat up, what'd you do to him?"

"Kicked him where a guy don't wanna be kicked."

Tricia laughed, "No way!"

"Yeah..he was going to rape me! Oh God!"

"What?!"

Madison covered her mouth, "Oh my Lord."

"What Madison, you're scaring me!"

"He kissed me!"

"So, you didn't let him, did you??"

"No, I pushed him backwards and he went over the desk."

"You did nothing wrong sweetie, okay?"

"I mean, Kevin's already pissed off at me.."

"He's not mad at you Madison, I told you the road wears people down! I called his cell but it turns out he's with with Howie and AJ."

"How'd you find that out??"

"Called Nick. He sounds cuter over the phone."

Madison smiled, "So, what'd you tell him?"

"I told him a cliff's notes version of what happened and told him to tell Kevin to call at his house later tonight."

"Okay..can I go home now?"

"Marcos went to find the doctor."

"Oh..okay.."
