Madison had finally dragged Nick OFF the dancefloor. "Madi! I wasn't finished yet!," He whined as they made their way back upstairs.
"I know, but I'm tired Nicky!"
"Fine..I get next dance though.."
She smiled and hooked her arm through his, "Of course Nicky."
Nick pushed open the door to the leopard room and they entered. "Well its about time you brought my girlfriend back.," Kevin said from his seat by Brian and LeighAnne.
"Oh but Kev, you were right, there are other men out there, and Nick's one of them!"
Kevin laughed, "You sure about that?"
"Hey!"
Madison hugged Nick quickly as he put on a fake pout, "I'm joking Nicky.."
"You want something to drink Madi?," Kevin asked pulling her over to him.
"Hmmm..yep..I wanna go downstairs and get it though, come with me?"
"Sure..we'll be back guys."
He took her hand and the two of them walked down the stairs to the bar. AJ's friend, Marcos, was bartending and greeted the two. Kevin grabbed Madison and chair and practically had to push her down in it, and then stood behind her. "Look's like they've got a good show-up tonight."
Madison nodded, "Oh yeah..its harder than hell to get through that crowd."
"You havin' fun?"
She smiled up at him, "Yeah..I'm comin' here every weekend while you're gone!"
He laughed and then grabbed the seat next to her as their drinks came. "Well..me and the guys, minus Nick, were talking while you all were down here and AJ suggested something that I think would be good for you, especially while we're out on tour."
She took a sip of her Daquiri(sp?), "Okay..what?"
"Well, while we're out on tour, there's no one here really to run the place besides Marcos and Andrew, AJ's two friends, and since you've been in the business out there AJ and D thought maybe you should run it while we're gone."
"Me?"
Kevin nodded, "Yeah! Come on, you keep saying you need a new job..something new.. this'll be something new and exciting, Plus, it'll keep you off the streets."
"Oh, so you won't protect me?"
He grinned, "Not while I'm on the other side of the Atlantic. So, what do you think?? Marcos and Andrew will be here to help but you'd just kinda be the person they answer to. They're both real cool...come on Madi.."
She sighed, "Let me think about it over night..ok?"
"Sure..I'll give you that..wanna go back up now?"
She nodded. He took her hand and they walked back upstairs. The room was pretty much empty when they got back, everyone had left to go dance. Madison took a seat and Kevin sat down next to her. "You know I get next dance, right?"
She smiled, "Of course..I've danced with Nicky enough."
She laid her head on his shoulder and sighed, "I think I like that idea"
"Really?"
"Yeah...It'd be a fun job, alot of work, but fun. And I like Marcos, I have yet to meet Andrew but I've heard AJ talk about him. Plus, it will give me something to do."
He nodded and kissed the top of her head, "Whatever makes you happy Madison, all I want is for you to be happy"
"And I am, insanely happy."
Madison laughed as Amanda dragged Kevin away from her and pushed AJ in front of her. "I'm stealin' your man for a few Madi!"
"Okay, bring him back in one peice please!"
"We'll see!"
"Wanna dance?," AJ asked with a grin.
"Sure..show my your moves Mr. Sex-Machine."
AJ laughed but then turned semi-serious, "So, Kev talk to you?"
"Yes he did."
"You decided anything? Because, you know we don't want to pressure you into anything or whatever, but..me and D want someone to look after the place that we can trust whole-heartedly."
"I understand completely J. And I know you both-Hi D."
Howie grinned, "Hey..I figured what you all were talking about..lets get a table real quick."
The three walked over to an empty table and sat down. Madison continued, "Anyways, I know you both trust Marcos and Andrew...but I do understand why you'd want someone you can trust with your life."
The two men nodded. "So, you gonna do it?," Howie asked.
"Sure why not. I need something to do while my man is gone."
They laughed, then Kevin came over looking confused as to what they were laughing at. As they laughed harder, he figured..
He didn't wanna know.
