"So, you're really not mad or upset or anything?," Madison asked as Kevin drove them to his house.
"No..quit worrying that I'm going to be mad Madison. I'm not at all."
"Okay..I just..wish you hadn't of found out from those pictures."
"Well..me neither..but I'd like to keep them."
"Why?"
"To have some record of your life..before me."
She smiled, "Oh..okay.."
"I understand it was a painful time in your life, but you know it wasn't your fault, right?"
Madison nodded, "Yeah..I mean, for awhile, yes I did blame myself, then I blamed the poor babysitter, but I forgive her, she tried her hardest. But, I figured it this way, God needed her for something else important and when He's ready for me to have another child, then I will."
He smiled over at her as he pulled his 4-runner into his driveway. "Thats a good perspective on it."
"I thought so..I just wish that her other grandparents would believe that.."
He sighed, "Well..they're hurt..and thats understandable..maybe one day."
Madison nodded as they walked up his driveway, "Yeah..I do understand where they come from..and one day I hope I'll get to talk to them without them holding such a grudge against me."
Madison laughed as Reese nearly tackled Kevin to the ground in the backyard. "I think he's mad you took his toy!"
"I think so too!"
Reese barked and ran to Madison with the ball in his mouth, then dropped it at her feet. Madison threw the ball and Reese took off down the hill after it. Kevin dusted himself off and walked towards her. "That dog is trying to kill me just to get to you."
"Awww..poor baby."
He smiled and kissed her, "So..I was checking my messages.."
"Uh huh.."
"Aaannnndd..AJ wants us to come for the opening of him and Howie's new club in downtown Orlando, wanna go?"
"Sure..should be fun..20 bucks says AJ has leopard print stuff all over it."
Kevin laughed, "I wouldn't doubt it."
