"They look soo much like AJ."
"Yeah, but Madison does too!"
"I know Jayde..but look at the twins, they are so adorable!"
Taylor laughed and sat Madison on her lap. "You all are awful!"
The three other women laughed. "Yeah, but you know you love us.," Jayde said grinning.
"Yeah..least I have someone else to talk to besides AJ..or the boys..Nicky, stop grabbing the cat's tail!"
"Sorry mommy."
"Where'd Chris go?"
"To play video games wanted to be put down.
"Madison has the cutest hair..is it naturally curly like that??," Marie asked.
Taylor nodded, "Yeah, its like that. She has gorgeous hair but washing it is hell. It gets so tangly and I feel so bad when I brush it out after a bath because it hurts her.."
"Can you not do anything about it?," Jayde asked.
"I've tried that 'No More Tangles' stuff but it doesn't work.."
"Ohhh.."
"She just has unruly hair I guess..," Taylor said playing with Madison's curls who in turn laughed.
Madison pulled her hair back and prepared to tackle 'the bath'. Nicky and Chris were playing the bath with all their G.I. Joes and battleships. She made sure she had on a t-shirt, a very OLD t-shirt, and went in. "Mommy! Come play!," Chris said.
"Okay..let's wash your hair real quick then I'll play.."
"Hurry mommy.."
"I'm hurrying..Nicky, scoot closer.."
"Where's daddy?"
"Putting Madison to sleep.."
She lathered Nicholas' hair and then pulled Chris closer and didhis hair. "Okay, who wants to wash out first??"
"MEEE!!," Both answered at once.
She laughed, "Okay..ummm...hmm...who should go first..."
"Me mommy!8T YOU DADDY!"
"YEAH! WE GOT YOU!"
"Yes..you two did get us..now, who's ready to go to bed??"
Nicky raised his hand, "ME!"
Taylor laughed, "You want to go to bed???"
"yeah!"
"I go to bed too!"
"AJ, will you get them dressed and into bed?"
"Sure."
"Okay..I'm gonna go change..again."
He laughed and grabbed two towels.
Taylor walked into their bedroom and grabbed another shirt and pulled it on. She brushed out her hair and then pulled it back again. She heard Nicky and Chris run into their room and onto their beds. Then she heard AJ talking and closing the door.
He walked in the bedroom, "Can I talk to you for a second?"
"No..you can talk to me for as long as you want.," She said smiling.
"Smartass."
"I know..just like you, huh?"
He laughed, "Yes..geez, got all smart on me all of a sudden!"
"I know..now, why did the boys seem SO eager to go to bed?"
He looked towards the floor, "Well..I have to admit..I did bribe them into going to bed a little early..so I could have you all to myself."
"I should of figured it was you..by the way, where did you and Howie go this afternoon?"
"I got something for you and needed D's opinion."
"What? You don't buy me anything unless its our anniversary, or my birthday or a holiday.."
"Taylor.."
"What??"
"Thats not true..," He said walking over to the dresser, "I love you, you know that."
"Of course..I love you too."
"I just..felt like I wasn't showing it enough lately. I mean, I'm always with the guys and leaving you all alone..I feel bad about it.."
"Well don't..we see enough of one another and I understand that you and the guys have to see one another while recording and touring and stuff.."
"Not many people would understand.."
"Well I do.," She said smiling.
"I know..but..I wanted to get you something..so..I figured this is the exact day in between our anniversary and your birthday, so I went to pick out something for this, middle of the road day, I guess you could call it.."
She smiled, "That is so sweet.."
"'Cause I'm a sweet kinda guy.."
She rolled her eyes playfully, "Okay..so, what is it?"
"Eager much?"
"yes!"
He laughed, "Fine..this is for you..the love of my life, the mother of my children, and the woman I finally settled down with and the woman I can see myself being 90 years old with twenty billion tattoos.."
She laughed as he said the last sentence, "Isn't that the truth?? You have 11 already..done yet?"
"I think so..maybe."
She smiled and opened the little box, inside was a gold ring with a jade stone sitting in the center. "Oh AJ..this is beautiful..thank you so much..come here!"
He laughed and she hugged him. She kissed him gently, "This is so sweet..I love you so much.."
"I love you too."
