Isabel shut the door behind her and took a deep breath. She could not believe she had actually just told Nick off like that. But, geez, he was being annoying and just mean. She hadn't meant to make him so mad, she was just trying to make conversation with him! 'Now what do I do?,' She thought.
Nick grumbled something under his breath and stomped off towards the backyard. "Finally..someone put him in his place.," AJ mumbled and only Kristen and Amanda heard him.
"I'm gonna go check on her.," Kristen said starting towards the stairs.
She knocked lightly on Isabel's door, "Isabel? Its me, can I come in?"
"Sure."
She opened the door to find Isabel sitting on the bed, legs curled under her, looking towards the window. "Saw what happened..its about damn time someone said something to him.," Kristen said taking a seat next to her.
Isabel shrugged, "Yeah well he pissed me off. He had no right to go off on me like that.."
"You're right, he didn't."
"Why is he so...so..mean?"
"I don't know Isabel. He's changed...alot. And I don't know why. He's so bitter and mad at the world it seems. I think Kelsey has something to do with it..she's got him wrapped around her little finger so tight I wouldn't be surprised if his head exploded. I think he needs a break from her, he needs to be alone for awhile and get his life together."
"He acts like he doesn't want anything to do with anyone."
Kristen put her arm around Isabel's shoulders, "Honey, he doesn't. He doesn't know why, we don't know why. But I think you've gotten under his skin."
"Me? How?"
"He isn't going to admit to anyone, not even himself, that he still has feelings for you. But once you appeared in his line of vision; his expression completely changed. Me and Kev watched as his face actually softened and his eyes lost the coldness in them. You, Isabel, can change him back to the Nick Carter we all know and love."
"Me?"
"Yes..but, do you still have feelings for him?"
"I don't know Kristen..I really don't."
Kristen left Isabel alone in her room and went back downstairs to where everyone was at. Kevin pulled her into the kitchen, "How is she?"
"She feels alot better since she told him off and talked to me. I told her she's the one that can change Nick back to his old self."
Kevin nodded, "I think that too.."
"Well Kev, we got two months to get them back together."
He nodded again and leaned down to whisper, "And to get Kelsey out of his life for good."
Kristen nodded, "Yeah..thats true."
He smiled down at her, "You know, we could just lock them in a room together..."
Kristen laughed, "I think right about now, Isabel would kill him."
Kevin thought about that for a second, "Thats true..she would."
Isabel came back downstairs after awhile and took a seat next to AJ and Amanda; who wanted to know everything about college and what she was up to. She was more than happy to talk to them, it kept her mind off a certain blonde man.
