Taylor woke up the next morning and rolled over, expecting AJ to be there. But, he wasn't there. She sat up and looked around, for any indication that he had been there in the night. There wasn't. Everything had been left the way it had been before. Tobie came running into the room and jumped on the bed. She petted him and then got out of bed. She took a shower as quickly as she could and got dressed. She picked up the phone and dialed Kevin's house. "Hello?"
"Kevin? Its Taylor."
"Hey Taylor. Whats up?"
"Well..AJ's not home..is he there?"
"Umm..no..as far as I know, he went home. You sure he didn't come home?"
"Positive..nothing is out of place or anything..and Tobie hasn't been fed. If he came home, he would of done that this morning..," She replied walking downstairs.
"Thats weird..because I left about the same time he did and he went in that direction. Let me call Brian and Howie and see if they've seen him and I'll call you back, okay?"
"Thanks Kev."
"No problem. I'll call back in a few."
"K...bye.."
She hung up the phone and walked into the living room. Nothing was out of place or moved. She looked out in the garage, his car wasn't there. She heard the phone ring and ran back inside to get it. "Hello?"
"They haven't seen him.," Kevin replied.
"Shit..I'm getting sorta worried now Kevin.."
"I gotta head to the studio anyways so I'll look around and let you know. Don't get too worried Taylor, he'll be fine.."
She sighed, "Okay..I guess you're right.."
"Okay..I'll call you later."
"Bye Kevin."
She hung up the phone once more and placed it back on the end table. Tobie looked up at her hungrily and barked. Taylor went into the kitchen before heading out the back door.
Kevin drove to the studio, he had to finish up a track he was working on. Pulling into the parking lot, his was the only car. He unlocked the door and went inside. Walking into one of the conference rooms, he was shocked to see AJ sitting in a chair watching the tv. "AJ?!"
"Kevin!," AJ jumped up obviously startled, "What are you doing here??"
"I could ask you the same thing. Where the hell were you last night? Taylor called and said you hadn't been home all night and was about to freak! She probably thinks your dead somewhere in a ditch!"
"I didn't want to go home after I left the club..," AJ said looking down at the floor.
"Why not?"
"Because...things have changed.."
"Huh?"
"I met someone else..," AJ stated.
Kevin looked at him, partly in confusion and partly in disgust. "What the hell are you doing AJ? We all know you're the 'bad boy' of the group and like to flirt but you're dealing with someone else's feelings. What are you thinking?"
"I don't know..She's..just so different from Taylor..she likes..to do wild things like sky dive and get tattoos..and stuff like that.."
Kevin sighed, "You shouldn't be telling me this AJ. You should tell Taylor.."
"I don't wanna hurt her Kev! I love her..just not that way..anymore.."
"What changed?"
"I dunno..," He said shrugging.
"You better figure out real quick AJ. We leave in two weeks..you have less than that to tell Taylor that you met some other chick.."
AJ nodded, "I know.."
