Taylor walked up the stairs to the third floor after getting off the elevator. She walked up the empty waiting room area where she had last seen the guys. 'Whered everyone go?,' . She wondered.
She walked to the nurse's station. A young nurse asked, "Can I help you?"
"Yes, I'm looking for the group that was here visiting AJ McLean. There were umm...four guys..and maybe a girl.."
"Oh yes..they left about five minutes ago. Mr. McLean has asked for no visitors at this time.."
"Well..could you call him and tell him that Taylor is here..he'll know who I am."
The nurse nodded and picked up a phone. After talking for a minute she shook her head, "He doesn't want to see anybody.."
"Oh..okay..thank you.."
The nurse nodded and went back to her work. Taylor walked down the hall and threw away her coffee that had gone cold. 'Why doesn't he want to see anybody?,' She wondered.
Taylor decided to see for herself, she walked back towards the nurse's station. It was empty, there had been a code blue somewhere and everyone must of rushed off. Taylor snuck past and went down the hall to room 344. She pushed open the door gently and could hear the tv on. Obviously, Taylor didn't open quietly enough. "Look, didn't I tell you all not to bother me?!," AJ said annoyed.
Taylor's eyes widened, she had never heard him so angry before. She walked in carefully, "Its me AJ."
AJ looked up as Taylor revealed herself. Relief and anger rushed through him like a bolt of lightning. "What happened to your date?," He asked coolly.
"Huh? What date?"
"That you had with JC..thats why you didn't come in.."
"Date with JC? I never had anything with JC. We're just friends. You were talking to the guys so I left you and them alone and went to get some coffee..I came back up and everyone was gone and the nurse told me you wanted no visitors so I snuck in..I'll leave if you want me too.."
"NO!," AJ said jumping up and then groaning back in pain.
"Are you okay?"
"Yea..my shoulder just hurts like hell..sit down.."
"I'm sorry.."
AJ sighed. Taylor sat down in the chair that was by his bd. "So who told you I had a date with JC?"
"Maria.."
"Oh..well that explains it. She seems to think I'm out to ruin her little world with showing up here.."
"I don't know why I ever went out with her.."
"I don't know either AJ..maybe it was because I wasn't good enough.."
"No! It was never that Taylor..never. I..I just REALLY screwed up..and I'm sorry I hurt you.."
"I forgive you.."
"So..you and JC..aren't a 'thing'?"
"No way! I mean, we do live in an apartment together but thats because we get along good. He'd like to go out with me but I don't like him..like that..he's just a good friend..like you were.."
"But then I turned into your boyfriend..," He said raising his eyebrows.
Taylor smiled, "So? I loved..love..you..."
