The next day, Jordan was outside washing her car. She heard someone call her name, she turned around and looked towards the Carter residence. Aaron, Nick's little brother was waving at her. "Hey Aaron!"
"Hi!," He exclaimed running over, "What are you doing?"
"Just washing my car..what are you doing?"
"Well I was gonna play basketball with Nick but I can'tfind him.."
"Ohhh..I'm sorry AC..I don't know where he went. Wanna help me wash my car?"
Aaron smiled, "Sure!"
She handed him a sponge and they set to work.
Later on in the afternoon, Nick came home in his green dodge Durango. Aaron had long since gone home, not really caring caring that Nick had forgotten about him. Nick saw that Jordan was still outside and walked over. "Hey Jord."
"Hey Nick."
"Whats up?"
"Not much..do you know you forgot about your brother?"
"Huh?," He looked really confused.
"Aaron came over here when I was washing my car earlier and said you and him were supposed to play basketball together but he couldn't find you.."
"I didn't forget, I yelled upstairs that I had to go to a friends house and that I'd play with him later.."
"Well obviously thats not what he thought.."
"I'll talk to him later..you doin' anything tonight?"
Jordan smiled, "Maybe, maybe not."
"Well..wanna come to a club with me and the guys?"
"I'd like to Nick..but we have to go pick up my mom and Bob.."
"Oh..well thats okay..you gonna be able to put up with him?"
"Yeah..don't worry about it.."
"Okay..I'll see you later then.."
"Bye Nick.."
Nick watched as Jordan walked inside her house. Then he sighed, put his hands in his pockets and walked over to his house.
Jordan looked out the window and watched as Nick walked to his house. 'He is so cute..but I know he wouldn't like me like that..so why even think it..I really wish we didn't have to we didn't have to go pick up mom and Bob..oh well..,' She thought as she walked up the stairs to her room.
