Jordan Williams walked out of the front door of her house and down to where her car, a 1998 silver Eclipse, was sitting. Jordan, who had just turned 17 in July, was just wanting to get out of her house. She drove out of the opened gates and towards town, well what little town there was.
She was around 5'8 with shoulder length, light brown hair and had dark green eyes. Her dark tanned skin showed that she spent alot of time in the sun, since she did live in Florida after all. She lived in the small town of Ruskin, located right outside of Tampa, with her father, John, and step-mother, Linda. She used to live in Nevada with her mother, but since her mother couldn't handle her, Jordan was shipped down to Florida. She liked Fl. a whole lot better than Nevada but she didn't have a lot of friends. She was a loner and only certain people got to see the 'real' Jordan. After driving around for almost an hour, Jordan was back at her father's house. The gates were open and she drove straight up to the house and walked inside. She could hear voices coming from the living room..or that general area. 'Oh great..who does Linda have over now?,' She wondered. She walked into the kitchen and towards the fridge to get something to drink. She inwardly groaned when she heard her father call her. "Jordan? Is that you?," He called. "Yea Dad, its me..," She replied. "Come in here and meet the Carters'." "Oh..okay, I'll be right there."
She closed the fridge and walked into the living room and came face to face with about seven or more people. "Jordan, these are our neighbors, the Carters'.," Linda said smiling at Jordan. Jordan forced a smile and greeted them. Then the introductions began, which she thought she'd never remember who was who. "And those three over there are the twins, Aaron and Angel, who are eleven, and our oldest Nick, who is 18.," Mr. Carter(Bob) said. She nodded, as if letting them know she knew who was who. She sat down in one of the left over chairs and listened to the adults talk about stuff. She glanced around the room and her eyes rested on the guy sitting closest to her, with the most amazing blue eyes. 'What did he say his name was? Oh yeah, Nick..Wow, he's a hottie..,' She thought smiling to herself. Suddenly, his eyes met hers and he smiled a litle. 'Oh great, now he thinks I'm a total loser, sitting here and staring at him..sooo cool Jordan..,' She thought looking away as her father said something.
"What did you say dad?"
"I was just telling Bob and Jane how you played basketball back in Nevada.."
"Oh yeah..I was a point guard, no big deal or anything..," She said suddenly shy.
"Well Nick plays basketball too, when he's not too busy or anything..," Jane said. Jordan smiled and nodded her head. She excused herself and went into the kitchen. 'They just had to bring in basketball...argh..,' She thought. She heard footsteps and turned around to see Nick walk in.
