Over the next two weeks, Taylor was kept busy at work and stuff. Denise was staying over for a couple of days, Taylor didn't mind, she needed someone to talk to.
That day, Denise was going with Taylor to the doctor. Taylor sat nervously in the waiting room while Denise read a magazine. "Honey, calm down. You already know you're pregnant.."
Taylor smiled and took a deep breath, "I know that...I just hate coming to the doctor nomatter what.."
"I understand. I get the same way whenever I have to go to the doctor.."
"Least I know I'm not the only one..," She said smiling.
"Alot of people are like that..just take a few deep breaths.."
Taylor nodded and leaned against the uncomfortable waiting room chairs. Soon her name was called and she walked back. Doctor Ramierez got her settled on the examination table. Then, the ultrasound started. Dr. Ramierez pointed to a little bleep on the screen, "There's the ehartbeat."
Taylor looked over and smiled. The doctor smiled also and then got a confused look on her face. "What is it?," Taylor asked, immediately thinking the worst.
"Hold on a sec."
She nodded, hoping something wasn't wrong. The doctor nodded to herself and then smiled, "Well..congrats..you're going to have twins."
Taylor almost shot up off the table, "TWINS?!"
"Yes..I got confused at first. There's the second heartbeat..," Dr. Ramierez said pointing to a second bleep.
"I can't believe this..twins? Are you sure?"
"Positive.."
"This is..this is..wow..I can't belive this! Wait till I tell AJ..he's gonna freak!," Taylor said laughing.
Dr. Ramierez smiled, "We'll schedule you for another appointment in about a month, you're going to have to come in every month.."
Taylor nodded, "Okay..Thank you doctor.."
"You're welcome.," She said smiling.
Taylor walked out with some papers and walked out to where Denise was waiting. "How'd it go?," She asked standing up.
Taylor couldn't help but smile, "You're not going to believe it.."
"What?"
"We're having twins!"
"Really?! Oh thats wonderful!," She exclaimed before hugging her.
"I know! Wait till I tell AJ...he's going to freak out!"
"He'll probably faint!," Denise said laughing.
They walked out to the car laughing and talking.
Later that night, Denise was in the guest room asleep already. Taylor sat in the living room on the phone with Nck. "Come on little man..let me talk to my man!"
Nick's laughter filtered over the line, "No way!"
"Ugh..Nick..I really, really, really have to tell him something.."
"Tell me first.."
"No way! Nick..come on!"
He sighed, "Oh fine..talk to you later Taylor.."
"Bye Nicky."
AJ finally came on the line, "Hey baby.."
"Hey..how are you?"
"Good, you?"
"I'm fine."
"Really?"
"Uh huh..how's the tour so far?"
"Good..the audience's are really cool."
"I know you love the attention."
"Yep.."
"Well...I went to the doctor today.."
"Oh really? What'd she say?"
"You're not gonna believe it.."
"What? Is something wrong?! Tell me Taylor!"
"AJ! Don't freak, geez!," She said laughing.
"Well tell me already!"
"Okay, okay. Well, I got my first ultrasound done.."
"And?"
"It was amazing..but...I think we're going to have to get double the stuff.."
"Umm..why?"
She laughed, "God, you're dense!"
"Huh?"
"AJ..dear, we're having twins."
There was silence and then AJ exclaimed happily, "WE'RE HAVING TWINS?!"
She heard various 'What's?!' and 'Huh's?!' in the background. "Are..are you sure? I..I..I..mean..Twins?!," He stuttered.
She started to laugh, "I think the whole state of..of..whereever you are..heard you!"
"But..but..twins?! DUDE!"
Then, she heard a scuffle and words exchanged between someone. "Taylor?! TWINS!!," Nick exclaimed into the phone.
She laughed, "Yep Nicky!"
"Holy sh--"
"No bad words Nick!"
"Sorry..I think we're all shocked and surprised..OW! AJ!"
"What'd he do?"
"He hit me! OW! Okay, okay! Bye Taylor!"
She laughed as AJ and Nick exchanged some more words. Then, AJ was on the phone again. "This is so amazing baby.."
"I know! I figured you would of fainted or something by now!"
"Not yet..I might after I hang up though. So, everything is okay? You're good?"
"Yep..everything's fine. Can you believe this AJ?! We're having twins, two babies!"
"I know! I wish I could kiss you right now.."
"Aww..you're cute..the guys aren't there, are they?"
"They just left to go get some dinner. They all said congrats though.."
"Well..I better go..its getting late.."
"What time is it there?"
She looked up at the clock on the wall, "Almost midnight.."
"Ohh..I'm like an hour behind you then..well, you get some sleep, you hear me?"
"Uh huh.."
"I'll call you tomorrow after the show..take care of yourself baby.."
"You too AJ.."
"I will..and take care of those two babies.."
Taylor smiled, "I will..I love you.."
"Love you too baby..talk to you tomorrow.."
"Okay..bye AJ."
"Bye."
She hung up the phone and went upstairs to go to sleep.
