It was an unseasonal warm, sunny day in January in Orlando. It was filled with birds chirping, birds buzzing, kids playing around and all that normal stuff. And AJ was stuck in the studio working on a new song. He groaned as the producer made them stop, again, and make some stupid corrections. He rubbed his face and looked at the other guys who were just as annoyed as him. Nick groaned and sat against the stool he had nbeen sitting on. "How much longer?," He groaned.
"Should be a few more minutes..I hope.," Howie said.
"I just wanna go home..," AJ said closing his eyes.
"We all do.," Kevin said as the producer came back to finish.
Taylor was sitting at her desk, typing away at her computer. She had gotten a job at a local business and was quickly moving up. But it was hectic, she barely had anytime to herself or anytime to spend with AJ, whenever he was home. She sighed and pressed the 'save' button. She glanced at her watch, almost 5:45, 15 more minutes and she could leaved and go home. Most of the other workers had already left for the weekend.
Fifteen minutes later, Taylor was walking out to her green Explorer sport and got in. She sped home as quickly as possible, knowing Tobie needed out. She waited for the gates to open and drove up the driveway and parked. She noticed AJ wasn't home yet, which was nothing unusal. She walked to the front door and unlocked it. Star, her cat, and Tobie both ran down the stairs to greet her. She picked up the small cat and then led Tobie to the backdoor and let him out in the large backyard. She slid her shoes off and took off her jacket before going upstairs to change into something mroe comfortable.
Later, Taylor was lounging out back with the cat and dog reading a magazine. She leaned her head back and rubbed her sore neck. She heard the front door open and close and soon heard AJ's footsteps. "Hey baby.," He said leaning down to kiss her.
"Hey..how was it at the studio?"
"Boring..annoying...I dunno.."
She smiled, "Sounds exciting.."
"Oh believe me, it was.," He said rolling his eyes.
"What happened?"
"The producer kept making us stop and redo stuff and stop and redo stuff over and over..how was work?"
She sighed, "Hectic..I swear, if they don't get better lighting in that office i'm gonna go blind!"
"Least its the weekend..,"
"Thank God!," She exclaimed.
He laughed, "So..have you been thinking about the wedding?"
"Yeah..I did today during a meeting..," She said sheepishly.
AJ laughed again, "What was the meeting about?"
She shrugged, "I have no clue..But, oh well!"
"So..what have you been thinking of for our wedding?"
"Our wedding..I like the sound of that..But..I don't know. We both have like 30 billion people we wanna invite..I don't want it to be some big production either.."
"Me neither truthfully.."
"Okay..sooo..we need to make a list of who to invite..come in here.," She said getting up.
AJ walked in behind her. She was standing at the counter with a pen and paper in front of her. AJ put his arms around her from behind and leaned his head on her shoulder. "Okay..we want the guys, right?"
"Of course. Don't forget Alicia, Marie, and Jane."
"I was just about to put them..Umm..my mom..brothers..your mom, dad, stepmom and step sister?"
"Yeah.."
"Okay..ummm...Jana definately..who else though?"
"I dunno..we can do this later..plus, we don't even have a date set yet.."
"Thats what we should do tonight!"
He laughed at her enthusiasim, "Okay baby..when do you want to have it?"
She shrugged and turned towards him, "I don't know. I'd like a June wedding.."
"Really? Okay."
"You make it seem so easy!"
He laughed, "It can be! Don't work yourself into a frenzy over this. We can make this easy or hard, and I'd like to make it as easy as possible.."
She nodded, "Okay..so, June?"
"Yeah..what day?"
"We'll have to look..are you hungry?"
"Yep..you?'
"Starved..and no AJ, we're not going to McDonald's.."
He pretended to look disappointed, "Damn."
She grinned, "AJ! We can't have McDonald's 24/7!"
"Why not?"
"Shut up and figure out something!"
He laughed again and then said, "I dunno..lets just go to the Olive Garden or something.."
"Okay.."
"Really?"
"Yeah..let me change and we can go.."
He nodded, "K."
A few minutes later, Taylor came downstairs and they left in AJ's Expedition. "Soooo....who do you want to be your best man?," Taylor asked.
He shrugged, "I have no clue..."
She laughed, "You have four people to choose from..your, and I quote, 'Backstreet Brothers', so pick one.."
