Silently he seeks and absolution
quickly finding no peace
trying to seek refuge
finding no place to hide
seeing those light blue eyes everywhere
that hand always on his shoulder
the whisper of her voice forever ringing in his earover and over again reaching
for someone that isn't there
silently hoping that she'll suddenly be there
that she'll reach back
but deep down he knows the truth...
She's gone for good this time
the only places he'll see her is in memories and pictures
his love will never fade
as he quietly seeks and absolution
