GOD'S RECREATION
God made a couple angels
And sent them down to earth
To live a life of happiness
For them to soon give birth.
A wiggling bundle of joy
Was theirs and theirs to keep
To keep him happy while he's awake
And to guard him while he sleeps.
And God told these angels
To love this child a lot
"Because you have a gift," He said,
"That no one else has got."
This child grew up to be
Quite wise and great and good.
And he tried to share his love
In any way he could.
He always had the helping hand
To share for just a while.
And, even to those he did not know,
He always wore a smile.
He had a special love
For whom he really cared.
And for this love, he vowed his life
Forever he would share.
They promised they would live
Together and give birth.
And with love the vowed to raise
Another child on earth.
And this became a way of life
For all the world to share.
They did away with war and hate
And all the world was fair.
And God look down and smiled
As He laid down His head to rest.
He had made the world like new
And this time did His best.
