Paperwork Process
Once we were signed up with World Partners, we began the task of assembling all the paperwork that would be required for our dossier. We chose Stephanie Aye with Adoption & Beyond in Kansas City to perform our home study and she was absolutely wonderful. We were expecting the home study process to be an invasive ordeal that we had needed to go through to complete the process, but Stephanie made it seem so easy. When Stephanie left our house after the home visit and told us that we were done, we both looked at each other and about fainted. It was really a breeze, and we credit Stephanie for that. We got our dossier consisting of our home study, birth certificates, marriage license, employer letters, bank letters, reference letters, medical forms, etc., etc., etc., all gather up in July and sent off to World Partners. Once our INS clearance came, we spent our time reading up on adoptions and waiting for a referral.
