After 20+ years of working in the Retail industry Ms. Robinson was forced to go on disability in 1996. Having worked since she was 7 years old, she knew she did not want to just sit home and vegitate watching soap operas all day. After taking a course in Medical transcription and learning her way around the computer, she realized she had a genuine interest in doing something more creative with her computer, hence Le Shonkoree Enterprises was born! The business started out online strictly as a personalized gift site, selling only what is known by most as "Personalized Name Prints," which consists of beautiful art print/lithos imprinted with the meaning of ones first name. Wanting to offer a variety of gifts, Le Shonkoree now has a wide range of gift items, such as, Afro-centric figurines, scented candles, stuffed animals, wedding gifts, and even a line of telecommunication items, i.e.-cell phones, pagers, etc.
