Classroom Achievements:

Hooray!!! 

Christian V. is now reading at a level 10!!!

Jacqueline, Citlaly, and Vanessa are all reading at a level 8!!!

Ashley, Damion, Autumn, Taylor, and Jocelyn are all reading at a level 7!!!

Juan Carlos J., Mariah, Lorena, Marco and Victoria have reached  level 6!!!

Alex, Christian B., and Eduardo have learned 50 Kindergarten sight words!!!

Help!

Kindergarten will be holding its annual "field Day on Wednesday, June 18, the last day of school.  We need volunteers to help set up, work and clean up booth activities for the children.  Field Day begins at 8:15 am and will be continuing until 11:45 am.  If you are able to volunteer your time please let me know as soon as possible so we can start planning our activites.

Many thanks to all the parents who have donated egg cartons for our caterpillar project.  Also, a big thank you to Mrs. Ramos and Mrs. Gomez for volunteering your time and muscle at our Cinco de Mayo booth.  We were able to raise approximately $300 to buy much needed playground equiptment.

Reminders and Upcoming Events!

Last day of school is Wednesday, June 18.  On this day, our schedule is changing! Instead of beginning at 11:45, we will begin our day at 8:15 and end it at 11:45.  The reason is so that we can join the morning Kindergarten classes in our Kindergarten Field Day.  Please make a note of this and arrange for any changes in your schedule.

Report Cards will be sent home with your child on Tuesday, June 17.  They will not be mailed this quarter.

Assembly will be held Friday,  June 7.  If your child is to receive an award invitation to attend  will be sent home shortly.
