FADE IN:

EXT. SPOOKY FOREST - MID DECEMBER - SOMEWHERE MASS.

Snow is on the ground. Five teenagers are sitting in a circle with a fire burning in the center. They seem to have been drinking a little too much. One guy even pours some beer into the fire so it flames up big.

A teenage boy, Travis (17) has a book of ancient black magic. He has short brown hair, wearing his high school letter jacket. He seems to think of himself as the leader of this group.

Next to Travis sits a young teenage girl, Crystal (17). She has bad makeup on, you can't even be sure of her real skin color. Her bleach blond hair is pulled back. She wears an Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt that's pink.

TRAVIS
(mean/demanding)
Everyone shut up.

Another teenage boy lights up a cigarette. His name is Darrel (16). He has longer hair than Travis, it's in his face... not clean at all. He thinks he's so cool, but he's not.

Darrel is sitting next to two other girls, Summer (16) and Jessica (17). Summer is dressed similar to Crystal, and Jessica is just in jeans and a t-shirt.

TRAVIS
It's time to communicate.
I feel the time is now.

Travis pulls out a pocket knife and cuts his hand. He squeezes his blood into a cup and passes the knife and cup to Crystal. She repeats what he did and passes it on. Everyone does it.

TRAVIS
(holding cup over fire)
We wish to contact Satan.

Nothing happens. Darrel looks as if he's about to crack up. He's high. Jessica looks at him, a way of asking him to stop.

TRAVIS
When I pour our blood into
this fire, Satan will show
us his true face.

He hesitates, then pours the blood into the fire. Nothing happens.

DARREL
You are so full of sh-

The fire EXPLODES! Travis falls backwards. Everyone screams.

Silence.

The fire dies down... they all look scared. As the smoke rises, the shape of a body forms in the smoke.

SUMMER
(terrified)
What's going on?

TRAVIS
How the hell should I know?

Krycek luminously appears before them. He looks DEMONIC.

DARREL
(too high to understand/amused)
Whoa... neat trick.

Travis, Crystal, Summer, and Jessica jump up and run like hell. Darrel is a frickin' idiot and stays.

DARREL
(to Krycek)
Dude... are you like
Satan or somethin'? Krycek demonically looks at him.

KRYCEK
I'm worse than Satan...
I'm Alex Krycek... (beat)
This is who you are...

DARREL
Cool...

Krycek's eyes get devious. He suddenly throws a ball of fire at Darrel and kills him. Off of Darrel's burning body... we:
