" It's A GIRL !! "
Her name is Olivia Grace Matthes
And she is adorable !!!

This is the first picture Jana sent me of baby Olivia,
taken while the family was on a trip to Texas.

Like mommy, like Cal.. haha-haha..
This is one I couldn't resist adding to Olivia's page..
I had a good laugh with this one..
The caption Jana wrote on the bottom was;
"Jana - 6 months pregnant ~~ Calvin - 6 months PG!"

moments after she was born, August 12, 2002 at 11:17 AM..
She weighed in at 7# 5oz. and was 19" long..

When I first talked to her on the phone after Olivia's birth,
She told me that she'd been 'dethroned'.. haha-haha..

Here's the proud daddy and big brother, Cal..
It's evident that new baby sister has stolen everybody's hearts...

After the 'big day' and the excitement is starting to wean, it's time to take baby home. She looks so tiny in the car seat, especially after seeing two year old, big brother in it for so long.

When Cal was first born, mommy & daddy took a picture of him in front of the mirror.. Now it's baby sisters turn to be the 'star of the show'..

When he was 5 days old, mommy took a picture of Calvin laying on the bed, just like this.
I liked it so well that she sent me an 8 X 10 enlargement of it.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Olivia in the same pose..
After loading this picture to my WebShots,
I called it up on my screen and held Cal's picture up next to it..
It looked like the same child !!!
It's easy to see that they are siblings.

Bath time !

Now that she's all clean and smelling good,
it's time for daddy to spend some quiet time with his new, little baby girl.

And last but by no means least, because it's among my favorites.
