This summer in August I hosted the 2nd Annual Checkers for the Children tournament! It was August 23 and it went on the whole day. The kids bracket started at 9:00 in the morning. The winner of this was Billy Shaddock. The adult bracket began at 4:00. The winner of this was Bobby Jones. I am seen with him in this picture. (I am sorry I could not shrink the picture.) This tournament was to benefit CMN (Children's Miracle Network.) In all it raised over $4,200 after expenses. It was a lot of fun and we are already planning for next year.
