One theory of my search is that my grandfather changed his name just after WWI. To this end, I have searched, not only for his name, but also for similar names. As my grandfather claimed to be an AM Imech E, I search the IMECHE Website and found a member by the name of Frederick Malcolm Prockter. They were kind enough to send me a copy of his application which held his signature. Comparing the signatures, they appear to be almost alike - considering they are 40 years apart. |
