CHAPTER TWO (2)
(4th of spring, Second day on the Farm) The next day I got up and looked outside the window. It was raining. But there was someone outside! It was the man that gave me the Axe! I ran outside – My colt and puppy were all wet – the man had two helpers. “What’re you doing?” I said. “We’re putting up your farms sign!” they said. They were right it said, CD farm, owned by Angel*. “But it’s raining!” I said to them. “Ha! Not Even a typhoon can stop us from working... And by the way we’re the carpenters!” said the headman.
They were finally done at 9:25am. I picked up my puppy and carried him and his bowl inside. I couldn’t do anything for my horse though... I ran to get food for my dog in the mountains. There was a tent and a man standing next to it. I walked up to him and said, “Hi, My names Angel!” “Hey there!” He started. “M’name’s Greg! Do you like fishing?” “Yeah!” I said. “Here’s an old fishing rod. Do you know how to fish?” I nodded and ran off.
I gathered up some berries and ran home. It was 10:56am and it stopped raining. I brought my dog and its dish out and fed him. I put some of the berries in the crate and ran to the flower shop. “Hi!” I said to the lady behind the front counter. “I’ll buy some turnips please.” She handed me a bag and said, “200g please.” My grandpa left me 300g so I still had some money left.

I walked out of the flower shop and went into the library. A girl ran in after me. She was carrying a big stack of books. I said, “Hi, I’m Angel*!” to her. She replied, “H-hello, my names M-Maria...” “Need any help?” I said it too late “Oh no!” all the books dropped. “Oh! H-here .” she said, handing me a book. “It should help you.” I replied, “Thanks!” and ran out.
I wanted something to eat now so I went inside the Bakery and saw another girl. She said, “Hi! I was just coming to your farm to give you this!” she handed me a pie. “Thanks!” I said. Now I didn’t have to use the 100g that I had left!
When I went outside, a yet another girl was standing next to the flower shop with a pink watering can. She said to me, “Hi! I’ve got something for you!” I ran over to her. She handed me a watering can and said, “You bought some seeds. You’ll need to water them you know. It’s your grandpas anyway. My name’s Popuri!” “M’name’s Angel*. And Thanks.” I said. All the people here are so helpful and nice!

I ran home to plant my Turnips. It was 5:01pm the shipper dude came into my farm (he didn’t look too happy because he was late ) and handed me my money! I now had 290g! I hoed a few rows planted my seeds and watered them.

I ran to the Bar with my puppy. I was going to show Ann how he was doing. When I got there the only people there was Duke the bartender and two other people. It was that Girl that knocked me down! It looked like they were fighting again. The girl ran out and pushed me over (Again) and the man ran after her. I sat down with Bingo. And for some reason I drank the water that the girl left. Then someone came in! I’d never seen him before. He walked over to me and said, “Hi! I’m Harris the mailman! You haven’t been checking your mail! It’s really starting to stack up!” At that moment I jumped and ran home!

I opened my mailbox and a whole bunch of mail dropped out. I brought them all inside and started to read them one by one! The first one said, "Hello. I’m the potion shop dealer of flower bud village (most of the young one’s call me potion shop “dude”). Make sure you treat your body right! Don’t stay up to late. Don’t work too hard on snowy or rainy days. And also don’t drink too much! Good luck!" the next one, "Hi! I’m the priest. Please come to church on Sundays! Or anytime you want!" the Next, "Welcome to flower bud village! Please come to the Bakery anytime to get full of energy!" Next, "the best wine ANYWHERE! Get a free sample at the Moon Mountain Vineyard!" the next one, "Home extensions! Call the mountain carpenters!" the next (the hand writing was all scribbled.), “Please come to the Library. I have something I’d like to give you.” and finally! There was a little blue heart on it. I opened it and read, "Thank you for taking the horse I know already that it's in good hands..." it was from Ann! She really does love animals too much! I picked up the book Maria gave me... It was about farming. It was 12:00 am by the time I stopped reading . I couldn't even get in bed! So I just fell asleep on the table.

The next morning... I sat up. My head hurt. The potion shop dude and Ann were sitting by my bed with something. "I made you some chicken soup!" she said. It didn't look like that though: It looked like a big glob of lard... "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DRANK LAST NIGHT!" Said the potion shop dude. "Especially not after it rains!" ‘But I didn’t!’ I thought. Then it came to me! That girl’s drink on the table must’ve had wine or something in it! The next thing I knew I was dreaming again.

(7th day of spring) (I had been sick for Three days) I got up and ran to the Mountains to get some shipping’s. When I got back... Mayor Thomas was standing at my front door next to my puppy. “There you are!” He started. “I’ve been waiting here an hour!” I replied, “What do you want?” “The Sowing Festival is tomorrow! It’s the Festival where...” I ignored him and left… without him even knowing! I already knew what the sowing festival was because I came to visit my grandpa on this festival one year.

I bumped into Maria as I left my farm. “S-Sorry*embarrassment*!” she said. “I’m in a hurry...” and ran off. I was curious, so I followed her. She ran over to the Church. They’re where four little kids going inside with her, followed by the Priest. I ran up to him and said, "Hi! I'm Angel*." "Oh hi!" he started. "Did you read the Letter I sent you?" That reminded me! (I don’t know why) I didn't do my choirs! “Yeah I did. I have to go now. ‘Bye!” I said running back to the farm. When I got there a young girl was at my doorstep... she had pig tails and pink hair that looked like Popuri’s. She said, “Hi! My names Kiwi, What’s your name?” Just as I was about to say it Popuri ran into my farm and shouted, “WHERE WERE YOU!” Kiwi replied, “I got lost...” Popuri said to me, “Sorry Angel*... this is my little sister Kiwi. Well we better be going... good bye...” they left.

I did my choirs and checked my mail. There was a blue heart on an envelope from Ann saying, “Be sure to feed Bingo EVERYDAY! Ann” She’s bossy!

I went to the mountains and fished until 2:30. And I didn’t catch anything! Then I ran home to see Ann by my shipping bin. “Here...” she said handing me an herb. “Thanks!” I said. “... So you don’t get sick again... I mean... Bingo might get sick too... Because you won’t be able to feed him if you’re sick... ‘Bye.” She said zooming out of my farm. “See ya!” I said. Right after she left the shipper guy came. “This is all you want to ship right? I’m taking it okay?” “Yeah, okay” I said.

I did a few things then went to the bar with Bingo. That girl who kept pushing me down was waiting on people. “Hey!” I said. She just turned away so I walked up to her and said, “Hi! What’s your name?” “... Why do you wanna know? Can’t you see I’m workin’ here!” she replied. ... I walked up to Duke the bartender and asked, “Who is she?” Duke replied, “That’s Karen. She’s Gotz’s daughter.” I started to walk up to her again but before I could *WAM* “OUCH!” I said holding my head. “WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING!” Said Karen walking away. I decided to go home and sleep.

(The 8th day of spring) The sowing festival was today and I wanted to get there before noon I still had a berry left in my back pack from yesterday so I put in my dogs dish and went to talk to speedy but he would always run away when I walk up to him *rejection*… so I just went to the town square. There was a big air balloon and a whole bunch of other balloons. I talked to everyone there and met a LOT of new people like, Stu, Kent, May, Rick, Doug, and Gray, Karen’s parents, Saibara and the midwife. Karen wasn’t there though… the last person I talked to was the mayor’s wife, Teresa (although that isn’t really her name… I don’t know what her name is…) “Hi! You must be Angel*. I’m Teresa, the mayor’s wife.” She started. “If you’re ready to begin take this balloon and the festival will start.” I took the balloon and the Mayor said, “Please pick the person that you want to take up in the balloon.” The potion shop dealer said, “Stu, do you want to come up here with me.” Stu asked Kent, “Is it okay with you, Kent?” Kent replied, “Yeah just go.” So Stu walked up to the air balloon, got in with the potion shop guy and flew away. We all let our balloon’s go and then I went home and went to bed.
