I can't describe it--there's something very delicate and almost art nouveau? about the hair and the way she draws the bodies. The cover doesn't do her art justice imo ^_^ Plot: This is set after the infamous episode 19? where Heero resuces a captured Duo and takes care of him. Heero asks if anything is wrong and Duo has a horrific flashback to his imprisonment. An OZ soldier is trying to rape him when Duo feels a gun against his thigh (those who ask if it was something else will have their noses gnawed off....). He pretends to go along with it only long enough to grab the gun and attempt to kill the soldier. It doesn't work and only makes the soldier pissed as hell. Lots of blood and running fluids and what not. Duo takes a shower, after he's been rescued, to try to clean himself. The marks of his imprisonment - the rope? burns on his wrists won't erase and he cries. Duo's confronted by a worried Heero *heartmark*. Then Heero does a truly bizarre thing ^_^;; He starts poking Duo in the forehead, flicking his forehead with his fingers, pinching his cheeks, lightly slapping him. He tells Duo to cry as much as he wants to. Finally, after a few minutes of this, Duo breaks down and cries, asking why Heero didn't rescue him... no matter how many times he called out Heero's name he didn't come. (Anyone having Soujiro/Kenshin flashbacks here? o.o) Heero tries to make Duo forget and they make use of the bed oh so conveniently behind them (there's a lot of that in djs.. hmm...a conspiracy?) The next morning Duo pokes Heero awake, quite literally and proclaims Heero a good person. ^_^ Opinion: Loved the art work, didn't like the angst/rape >.< but I seldom do in djs *sighs* but anyhoot ^^ Definitely not the usual story and most definitely not the usual 1x2 characterizations or dynamics *Eyes plots explanation* no matter how blah my summary seemed ^_^; Reviewed by Reishin BACK
