Based on a true story....
"Oh," she said "Your Hypercard scripts are sooo big, Karl!!!"
"Why, thank you." Karl replied, entering another algorithm, "Now, let me help you with your stack." He enthusiastically continued. "But first, I must see what you’ve done with it."
"Well," she began, explaining as she opened it "when it opens, you have to touch my button to start."
If only I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard THAT one, mused Karl.
"Then," she went on "you click here for pictures, here for words and this is a writing-thingy, and...."
"You know, mine gets bigger every night." Karl mentioned, to her sudden joyous surprise, which disappeared when he said "my Hypercard stack, that is."
"Oh." She said with heartfelt Disappointment.
"So, what’s the problem?" Karl enquired.
"It takes up too much memory."
"You could make a RAM disk."
"How?"
"Well," he said, producing a diskette "first let me insert my floppy... disk."
"Sounds goood...." she said as he gently slid it into the drive.
