Sooo..this page definitely needs a little blurb to explain the pics. I stepped foot on the motherland (too bad ima ALLERGIC TO IT!) on May 27, 2001 and began work on June 1. The following Saturday, June 2, 2001 was the dreaded day that PAXNet workers and I went ALL the way to Yong In to play this dreaded game called "THE SURVIVOR GAME." Right, so it's basically paintball on top of a mountain.
NEwaiz, i went along, completely unwillingly, and sat on top of that hot mountain PICKIN MAH NOSE for the entire time. Lemme add that we were supposed to leave by 8 am, so i ran outta the house in a hurry and booked it to the subway stop etc...to arrive at 7:50 am and guess what? shady koreans waited around for other people to get there until...9 AM! 9!! That was an hour of sleep I lost out on. It took an hour to get there, mind you, i knew NOBODY at PAXNet cept for the Lee Gwajang, and i slept on the way there. I sat there while they played til like, 4 pm and sat thru an entire barbecue with this dead animal carcass in front of me (i almost threw up and needless to say, didn't eat it) and had about 50 people pour me alcohol that i had to refuse. It's unfortunate that it went to waste, and i guess it's rude to refuse in Korea, but i wasn't about to add to my annoyance of the day. They danced, sang, drank...i sat there. you will see my annoyance sitting there at that table...so the following pics were taken by a $6,000 digital camera and apparently the PAXNet guy in charge of takin the pics decided that the camera liked me. I was sittin around and had no idea he was takin alluv these pics and he just shot away. Riight..so i look pretty dumb. But these are the only pics of Korea I have, so I thought i'd put em up. Hope someone enjoys em! :P
