Level Select:
At the title screen, Press Up, Down, Left, right (sometimes you have to hold A while you do this) untill you hear a ring. then, hold A and press start.

Debug (Edit Mode): 
At the title screen, press Up, C, Down, C, Left, C, Right. There should be a ring sound.
Hold A and press Start. You should be on the Level Select Screen

ATBT-AA32: MASTER CODE--MUST BE ENTERED
AE0T-CABE: Once invincible, stay invincible for the rest of the stage or until you die.
SCRA-BAXO: Each ring counts as 8. **Trick: replace the "S" with an "H" to make one ring count
as over 1000, or replace with a "9" to make one ring count as over 3000!!!
GJ6A-CA7A: Infinite lives.
AY3T-BA4R: Start with 5 chaos emeralds.
DDLT-AAGL: Jump higher.
BDLT-AAGL: Jump much higher.
AWRT-AA5W: Never lose rings.
AEOT-CABY: Once you have supershoes, keep them for the rest of the stage or until you die.



Sonic the Hedgehog 2 

Level Select:
go into options and use sound test to play sounds 19, 65, 9, 17 in
that order. a ring should sound. then, go to the title screen, select
1 player, hold A and press start.

Debug (Edit mode): 
At the Level Select screen. Go to Sound Test and play notes
1, 9, 9, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4. Press Start. 

All Chaos Emeralds
go into level select and use that sound test to play sounds 4, 1, 2, 6
in that order. the chaos emerald sound should play. now, just select
your stage and press start. (hold A if you typed in debug)

If the first code doesn't work, try the second. If you see a *DITTO*, that means that both codes are the same.

ATTT-CA58: Never lose rings when hit--Sonic.

AH2T-CAHN: You only need one ring to activate the special stage at a starpost.
The next codes concerning the special stage: The counter doesn't show the extra rings, but you do get them.

SBJA-HAV8: Rings worth 8 in special stage--Tails.
For this code, do not grab any additional chaos emeralds.
ACZT-CACA
ACZT-CACN: No chaos emeralds are needed to transfom into SuperSonic. Must have 50 rings.
AGZT-CACJ + K4ZT-CA9N
AGZT-CACY + K4ZT-CA92: Need only one ring to become SuperSonic. Must have all 7 chaos emeralds. Never lose rings with time.

Level Select:
When "SEGA" fades out and right when sonic is fading in, type up, up,
down, down, up, up, up, up. you may have to try this a whole bunch of
times, but it does work. if you hear a ring, it worked. at the title
screen, press up or down untill the words "Sound Test" appear. press
start there for the level select menu

Debug (Edit Mode): 
Start the game through the Level Select screen. Also, if you place a
Blue S Monitor, and you jump on it you will become Super Sonic, but if
you are playing as Tails alone you will look very glitchy.

All Chaos Emeralds
go into level select and use that sound test to play sounds 2, 4, 5, 6
in that order. The chaos emerald sound will play. Now, just pick your
level and press start (hold A if you want debug). if you reset or go
back to the title screen, you will have to retype the code.

AWHA-CA92: Never lose rings.
SCGT-DAYL: Rings are worth 8 a piece.
BLGT-CAE0: Extra Life after 1st 10 rings.
HCGT-DAZY: 16 extra lives after first 200 rings.
9CGT-DAZY: Lotsa lives after 200 rings
9L5A-CBHN: Ring monitor worth 999 rings.
AJZA-CA8N: SuperSonic doesn't lose rings.
AJ3A-CA7A: Infinite lives.
ACAT-CAB6: Insta-shield can be activated multiple times.
HCGA-BCON + A4GA-A28T: 1 blue sphere needed for chaos emerald.
ATST-CA38: Walk in water as if you were walking on land. 
You cannot drown. Turn off the GG for some spring pads.
**The water acts as a height maximizer, when this code is in place,
the spring pads bounce you to normal height, which may be insuffcient
for getting you out of the water. You'll see what I mean.

sonic and knuckles

Level select-While on a pump elevator, press: Left, Left, Left, Right,
Right, Right, Up, Up, Up. Then reset the game and hold A and press
Start at the Title Screen. 

De-Bug (edit)-If you get into the Level Select Screen,you've done
the first step right. You need to go back to the Pump Machine and
enter the Level Select Code again to get into Debug. When you get
back to the Screen, hold A+Start as you enter a Zone. If you've gotten
into the Sonic 1 or 2 Debug, you know how to work this one. (B to
enter, A to switch, and C to place.) When not in Debug, A makes you
rise to the ceiling. If there is no ceiling, you die. A Blue S
monitor (the object after the Power Ring) gives you 50 rings and turns
you into Super Sonic, Hyper Knuckles, or Super Tails. 

CEMA-B6JY: Lots of things on the screen are now invisible.
Z2GT-CA5W: All characters have superspeed
AWXT-CA4C: Don't Lose rings when hit.
HXRT-AA6A: Infinite time.
96BA-CAG6 + 98MA-CAFO: Keep sheilds when hit.
