John went to Ottawa High School, in Ottawa, KS. We met through friends one night, by chance. A friend of ours, Tom, wanted him to meet one of my best friends, Tina. Well, when John first saw Tina and I, he thought I was Tina! (Hee hee) But Tom soon set him straight, and he was glad to find out that I was single (though just for the past 2 weeks. LOL) Yeah, I know it sounds corny and old-fashioned, but it really was like love at first sight. All night, we kept asking our friends about each other. The next week, on October 21, 2000, is when we became an 'official' couple. (Though he didn't ask me out till New Year's...Ahem!) Since then, the love we have just keeps growing!!
