It's a Monday and the weekend passed in a whirl of anticipation, getting together, then coming apart. The classical Aristotelian model of beginning, middle, and end.
Last night took us down past the freezing point, but I lay there snug as a rug in a bug, nestled down within the maroon sleeping bag, dreaming dreams of being homeless. I mean, really! Am *not* homeless, just...um...camping for the time being.
Dalila, from Portugal, suggested the title of today's Circle Epistle. We argue about the meaning of life and throw all these metaphysical pies in each other's faces. In the end, she's right from her side, I'm right from mine. (Bob Dylan, thank you.)
The day came upon me bright, blue, yellow, crisp, and there were these little spirits hovering over the river which I knew were really and truly spirits, but which the scientific mind knew to be nothing more than water vapor. They were dancing out the morning, and I could hear the whir of my tires humming out a song for them. It was lovely, I tell you.
The huge pink prayer stone was on my right, an upright rock, rising up into that blue blue sky, thrusting into the give of that blue, and that, too, was wonderful. The morning suddenly felt fraught with concuspicense.
At JavaBreak Nicoletta was dimpled and smiling, coffee was poured, change given, and I hid myself in the back smoking room where I was soon joined by Nicoletta on break, then Liz (hubby the psychologist).
Liz had a flat.
