Zarrivex
A legendary, yet enigmatic figure in the course of history. He has
been referenced in history on many occasions. Every reference is
tied together, and a common pattern can be seen: he is evil, and wants
only to rule and have power. In many dictionaries, his name means
"total evil" or "doom." His name can be likened to Satan and many
other evil gods, though he is considered to be worse than all of them put
together. He is ruthless, cunning, and extremely powerful with magic.
However, very little is known about him outside of his powers, things like
his origin, age, where he got his powers, what his real objectives
are, etc. Other than what is learned through history, very little
is known of him. Many believe he is just a myth, a story made up
to scare children to make them behave. Others think he was quite
real, a person who once ruled the entire world for a span of 50 years,
commonly known as "The Dark Period" though many feel that the whole thing
has been exaggerated greatly; many thinking of him as simply an evil ruler,
or powerful Mage of some sort. Whatever he is, and whether he is
real or not, he should be considered dangerous, someone who will not stop
until he reaches his objectives and gets what he wants. If indeed
he is real, then he must be stopped by any costs and as quickly as possible.
Zarrivex has been included in the tales of Mathingrolk, who was indeed
real, as there is written proof and verifications. Some have hypothesized
that the reason Zarrivex is considered a myth, while Mathingrolk is known
to have really existed is because Zarrivex planned it that way: possibly
to mask himself and his identity.

Mathingrolk
Mathingrolk was a great and powerful Wizard. A wizard of the highest
degree. He was a person of light, a kind and decent person who fought
for justice. And Zarrivex was around at the same time (supposedly)
and was quite the opposite; it is said that the two were total enemies.
They were said to have fought many times, over many things. It was
thought that Mathingrolk would continue to beat Zarrivex, as he usually
won almost all encounters. However, Mathingrolk got old and weakened,
and it is speculated that Zarrivex never really tried to beat him at all,
that he was playing with him, though this cannot by any means be confirmed.
The tales of Mathingrolk are well known, except for one of his trips to
a mysterious Island of an ancient race where it is rumored he found some
sort of "Ultimate Power". It is then believed that Zarrivex found
out about it, and struck. Details are sketchy at best, and are not
commonplace, as only a few know of this. No one is quite sure what
happened at the Island, if it was real, or the conflict that ensued between
Zarrivex and Mathingrolk. The details of Mathingolk's death are also
lost and have been dragged through the mud of time. The exact nature
of how he died is unknown. Though the supposed dark period coincides
with the supposed death of Mathingrolk and the supposed take-over of the
world by Zarrivex. If this is all true, then the death of Mathingrolk
sealed the fate of the world, as he was it's greatest defender. Although,
if this is indeed true, why did Zarrivex give up his place, as he certainly
couldn't have been destroyed by a simple rebellion as history says?
Much about Zarrivex, his involvement with Mathingrolk and the "Ultimate
Power" is all shrouded by mystery and time.
A few years ago, something involving Zarrivex occurred. All that
is really known about the event is that it happened at Arillacus Prime,
and that a man named Clark Mendoza got entangled with Zarrivex. Nothing
more than that can be concluded to be true. And as it is, nothing
more has been gathered except information regarding Clark
Mendoza.
