Before you submit a story to the Addicted To Doggett Fanfic Archive, make sure your story fits the following requirements:

1) Your story can be of any length and about anything you want. All I ask is that your story is Doggett friendly.

2) Please no character bashing in any way shape, form or fashion. Doggett endured plenty of pre-Season 8 bashing, all of which did not end once the Doggett Years were underway. Because us Doggettist people are better than that, Addicted To Doggett will not accept bash-fic.

3) Please, please, pretty please make sure you have spell/grammar check your work before submitting. I don't have time to go through and fix them for you. Beta readers are a swell idea.

4) I don't like fanfic that was written on a Pepto Bismol pink Barbie PC, please submit serious pieces of your work.

5) Addicted To Doggett is open to any kind of fanfic featuring John Jay Doggett: casefiles, Doggett/Other, DSR, slash (Doggett with any of those other X-Files men, I love it all), DRR, humor, angst, alternate universe, etc. I'm up for anything, because I'm addicted to Doggett.

6) Make sure to label your story with the proper rating (G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17), summary, category, pairing (if applicable), etc.

7) Please do not send me a story that has more MSR than anything. I have been a shipper, but I'm not anymore, I don't want to be and I'll never in my life be going back. Now if your story implies MSR and involves Doggett in many, many ways, go ahead and submit it, but if it's too schmoopy for me, it'll end up in my trash.

8) If your story meets these requirements, it will be archived here at Addicted To Doggett. If it does not, I'll contact you to tell you what went wrong. Remember that I'm pretty laid back, most anything with Doggett will end up on the archive :D

9) Follmer fanfic is allowed as long as you treat him kindly. Follmer is one of my favorite Season 9 characters and it is so rare to find fanfic involving him. I'll take a Follmer fic with or without Doggett :)

10) I love many pairings that came out of Seasons 8 and 9 if you have any of the following, please submit: Follmer/Reyes, Skinner/Reyes, Mulder/Reyes, Knowle/Shannon, Mulder/Shannon, Follmer/Scully, Scully/Reyes, Shannon/Reyes, Shannon/Scully... probably more I just can't remember all the pairings I've come up with.

11) If you already have stories archived on the site, ignore all of the above. Once I've approved at least 3 of your pieces, I'll take your stories blindly.
