Sloane's KU Page

This page is all about the KU Jayhawks basketball team.
My favorite basketball player is Jeff Boshee because he can shoot three
pointers in tight games and can win them. My next favorite player is
Marlon London. He can dunk the ball when other people steal it away
from the other team. Luke Axtell is another awesome player. He has my basketball
number which is number 33.
The "Rock Chalk Chant"is my favorite cheer when we go to Allen Field House.
Allen Field House is named after Forrest "Phog" Allen. He coached for 39 years.
Allen Field House is located on Naismith Drive. Naismith Drive is named after
James Naismith, the inventor of basketball. He was the first KU basketball coach.
Some of the basketball players from previous years that I like are Raef LaFrentz,
Jerod Haase, Paul Pierce, and Jacque Vaughn. They now play in the NBA.
Two of the games that are my favorite to watch and cheer really loud at home for are the Missouri game
and the K-State game. I cheer KU on and hope they win.
That is just a little summary about the KU Jayhawks. They are my favorite team
and I hope they are yours, too.

Why I like the Jayhawks

They have awesome players.
Their colors are pretty.
They have fun things to do before and after the games.
Their basketball team is good and can beat Missouri.
