History of The X-Phile eXpedition

The X-Phile eXpedition is a weekly X-File fan newsletter. that I created. I really wasn't intending it to be a newsletter but the more I thought about it, the more it became a newsletter. It all started by me wanting to get my circle of X-Phile friends into a closer group, cuz we just kinda keep on drifting apart. So I thought we'll start by sending a X-File related topic and if anyone has something to say, then they can write on the the e-mail and forward it to everyone else.

Well, then, I suggested this idea to my good X-Phile friend Dana(screen name), and she suggested that we should just do a newsletter. I agreed and she set-up our "office", which is The X-Phile eXpedition Office. Or office was inaugurated June 28, 1999. What is in The X-Phile eXpedition?

We have a lot of sections as of now, and we are still continuing to grow even bigger!!! But below is what's in there as of now and beside it, is what is in that section.

The X-File Headlines - This is where I put all of the recent news of and/or about The X-Files, and it's portrayers (GA, DD, CC, NL, and all other X-File Stars).

X-Episode Reviews- I do the episode reviews. I usually, eXplain what happens in that particular episode, share my personal opinions on and rate it. Oh and if you're not in the U.S., don't worry, cuz I only review eps that I know for SURE that they've already shown in most countries. I wouldn't wanna spoil a great episode for ya!!

X-Fanfic Reviews - Dana, does the fanfic reviews. She eXplains what happens, give her opinion, and rates it as well.

X-Quiz - This is the X-Quiz, where I'll give around three X-File related questions. And they're not always sooo easy...

Shipperville - Dana, who's a 'Shipper at heart does this section. This section is dedicated to all the 'Shipper fans out there!! In Shipperville, there'll be something Shipper related, such as a Shippy scene, shippy quote, Shippy website, or something like that.

NoRoMo eXposure - Well, since we have a Shipper section, why don't we have a Noromo section?!?! So here it is. If your a Noromo then this is the section for you!!

Quote-Of-The-Week> - We just have to have this section!! Everyone out there knows at least one quote, whether it'll be a Mulderism or Scullyism, or something infamous such as the "The Truth is Out There". Here we bring some of the funniest and X-Filish quotes.

Did You Know? - Of course The X-Files has all kinds of interesting, weird, or gross things that even the fans don't know, so you'll hear some goodies here.

Q and X - A show that's compleX, weird, and confusing as The X-Files can stirr-up a lot of questions and make you wonder forever. And only one person knows all the answer to, his name is Chris Carter. But you can ask a question, and other X-Philes and myself will try to at least come-up with some kind of plausible answer, and you can do that in this section without getting killed!

eXtra - Sometimes Dana and/or I find something that's really interesting and we wanna share it!! So that's what we do here.

X-Theories - Every X-Phile has their own unique and different theories, and you can share yours here.

X-Works - Some X-Philes has dedicated their time and effort to create some really great works of X-Files Art!! Such as Fanfics, Poems, Songs, and stuff like that. Here you can read other subscriber's great X-Works and submit your own X-Works. Don't worry I'll give you credit!

How To Become A Member

EVERYONE is welcomed to join!!! Well, if you're not an X-File fan, I wouldn't know why you would want to, though.... Anyways, here the way of subscribing to The X-Phile eXpedition. Join by Listbot. At the end of this paragraph, you'll see a boX and just type-in your e-mail address! Afterwards, you will be asked about personal question, in which you do NOT have to fill-in, it's purly optional. But I would like you to at LEAST type in your screen name. Oh and if you are new to Listbot, then you'll have to make up your own password. When you're all done with that, then that's it!!! Your now officially a subscriber to the X-Phile eXpedition!! While your at our Listbot, you might wanna check out our Archive. The Archive has ALL the past issues of the X-Phile eXpedition.
