All About Hungary.
The country where we lived.
My husband and I were growing up in Budapest and Siófok Hungary.
We left Hungary in April of 1990 to look for a better future for our unborn children.
We arrived to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in June of the same year.
On this page I would like to share some stories and pictures of this beautiful country Hungary.
If you have any picture or stories you would like us to include on this page please feel free to e-mail us by clicking on the poodle on the bottom of this page.
Thank you and enjoy your stay.
This bridge is one of my favorite one. It is called the Chain Bridge and it is across the Danube river in Budapest. Budapest is divided to two by the Danube River. East side is called Pest, West side is called Buda. Pest side is plain and Buda is on a Mountain.
This is the Parlament Building also located in Budapest. It is located on the Pest side of the city.
This is a birds eye view of the bridges which crosses the Danube River at Budapest.
This place called the Hero's Square. Cars are not allowed in there they can just go around the square.
This is the train station in Siofok. Siofok is also called the capital of Lake Balaton. It is located approximately 120 kms South West from Budapest.
This is the Water Tower of Siofok. It is located in the middle of the city.
