Kournikova upsets Huber at Wimbledon (c) 1997 Copyright Nando.net (c) 1997 Agence France-Presse LONDON, June 29 (Jun 29, 1997 - 19:56 EDT) - Russian teenager Anna Kournikova kept alive her Wimbledon dream late Sunday when she swept into the fourth-round of the women's singles with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over seventh-seed Anke Huber of Germany after a 1 hour, 43 minute showdown on the center-court. The 16-year-old from Moscow, watched by coach Nick Bollettieri, mother Alla and ice-hockey star boyfriend Sergei Federov, now plays experienced 32-year-old Helena Sukova of the Czech Republic for a place in the quarter-finals. Kournikova, who won the under-21 title at Eastbourne last weekend, has played seven senior tour events in 1997 and already chalked up victories over top players Amanda Coetzer and Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario. Huber is the seventh seed to be beaten in the women's event.
