On a personal note...
The song on this page is Desperado, by the Eagles. This song reminds me of Jesus. You may think it is a song about a guy and a girl...but I always think of Jesus when I hear this song. I hope everytime you hear it you think of Jesus too...We were never meant to do it alone here on the earth. When we try to do it "our" way, it doesn't work out...listen to the words...We sit on the fence, waiting. When we have Jesus in our hearts we will never be alone. Let Jesus love you...
Before it's too late!
"...great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved..."
These thousands of missing people will be folk from many denominations, they are the TRUE CHRISTIANS who have been trusting in what our Lord Jesus Christ did for them on Calvary's cross for their salvation (not trusting in their own good works - - see Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Bible teaches us that even the graves shall give up those who trusted in Christ, when He comes to take His own redeemed ones out of this sin-cursed earth on that great day.
"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." I Thessolanians 4:15-17
Yes, dear friend, if your newspapers have just announced that this event HAS taken place, that many thousands all over the world are sudenly missing, you will know that Christ has done as He promised, and come back for His own...that He has taken up the humble believers (HIS TRUE CHURCH) to be with Him while the Great Tribulation rages here on this earth. You will have to face this fact, and there are some vital things you must know and do if you are to be among those who are saved during these terrible tribulation years.
1. The so-called "church" that will remain here during the tribulation is NOT the true Church, but the Bible calls it the "apostate church," which is made up of those churches which have failed to preach the true Gospel of salvation by faith alone...faith in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Divine Son of God, who took our punishment for our sins on the cross, and who rose again, appeared to more than five hundred witnesses and ascended to God the Father, making intercession for those of us who confess Him as our Savior.
2. These churches will combine into a huge, "World Church" and will seek a strong leader who will appear equal to the task of saving a frightened, war-torn world from destruction. The Scriptures teach that Satan will have prepared just such a strong leader for this time...one who is the devil's own substitute for christ. This stanic substitute, called the Anti-Christ in the Bible, will first appear as a miracle-working "strong man" who will captivate the imaginations of the poeple and whom they will elevate to world dominion oas their "one great hope." But when they think they found the one great leader who can preserve the peace, the true nature of this strong man will begin to assert itself. He will get bolder and bolder as the people of the world eagerly reach out to him for help. He will attain an absolute economic dictatorship of a world which is trusting him to save it from chaos. He will demand and GET the complete allegiance from the people, even their actual worship! Those who refuse to worship him, and accept his brand-mark (the mark is "666" see Revelation 13:11-18) will be killed outright, or starve for they will not be able to buy or sell (complete economic strangulation) If they do not bear the "MARK of the Beast."
3. YET THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR YOU! Even though you are still caught in this great tribulation, there is still hope if you will do what the Bible says you must do for your salvation. ALL the people of ALL ages that were saved since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, obtained salvation in only one way...by faith in God's promise! Before Christ came, God had His people sacrifice an animal as a type, pointing their faith to His promise that His own pure, sinless Son would bear the punishment for their sins, and they were waved by just believing His Word and accepting this salvation as an undeserved gift from God. So have ALL men and women who have obtained salvation (since Jesus came and fulfilled this promised substitutionary death) been saved by believing and accepting Him as their one and only Savior.
Even though you have to pay with your life, to openly confess Him as Savior (and not turn your allegiance from Him to His arch-enemy, the Anti-Christ) you shall be saved, even in the midst of this great tribulation. Revelation 7:14 shows plainly that God will be welcoming in Heaven a host of people who "came out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (God's Son, Jesus). But you dare not compromise, for God's Word is very specific that those for God's Word is very specific that those who worship this Beast (the Anti-Christ) or receives his mark on forehead or hand will receive the same eternal damnation reserved for the devil and his hosts (see Revelation 14:9-11). Thank God, verse 13 shows that God will still mercifully receive you who do stand for Him in those tribulation days and die for your faith.
This Message is for everyone...and to prepare you before the Rapture of Christ's true Church, with earnest prayer that many of you will see it in these awful days and put your faith in God's SURE Word and suffer physical death NOW rather than both physical and eternal death very soon. Remember Jesus said that "those days shall be shortened" for the elect's sake, (those of you who whould confess Him as your Savior, and you can count on HIs promise to come back again soon to destroy the works of Satan and bind him and throw him into the bottomless pit).
BEFORE the newspapers, and television break out with the "TOP STORY" about thousands of misssing people, do not delay, confess Christ as your Lord Saviour NOW. Be among the happy band of Christians who will take the glorious trip with Him, and escape the awful days of the tribulation here on the earth as Satan's power is unleashed in his last mighty rebellion against God. Remember that God is still extending His hand in love, and is earnestly imploring you to accept His priceless Gift...Salvation through the shed blood of His Son, and the wonderful indwelling Presence of His Holy Spirit to bless you and help you all your life.
