Pamela Anderson kills RuPaul for flirting with her ugly husband, Howard Stern and Kathie Lee (who we still hate for asking Hanson how they met) battle it out over nothing much at all.
Then they come back to Hanson vs. the Spice Girls, fighting over the title of most annoying band of the year. We could've stood that, it's insulting but hey. A pre-fight discussion of the annoyingness of the Spice Girls (an annoying movie, book, more annoying clothes, has more annoying singles, etc.) and Hanson. Hanson's annoying points were:
1. Sell a lot of annoying records (whatever)
2. More annoying fan magazines and fans (gee thanks)
3. Much younger, so could potentially be annoying for a longer period of time. Ok MTV.......
Then the fight began. It started with Taylor and Ike launching Zac across the ring, with Zac screaming "MMMBOP!" as he knocked both Baby Spice and Posh Spice out. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! This took care of 2/5 of the Spice Girls, but it left only Taylor to fight Scary Spice and Ike to fend off the redhead Spice and Sporty Spice.
Ike and Tay shout "Isaaac!" "Taaaaylllllooorr!" as the Spice Girls kick then and scream "Girl Power!" Oh yes we can see how using your 9 inch Spike Heels could be dangerous, but girl power? We think not.
Tay and Ike pull Baby Spice in half. Everyone climbs back into the ring and you are all exciterd when the scoreboard crashing down!
I bet you can guess who it was, that @$$hole Marilyn Manson. Uhh. We did not like this at all!!!!!!

Here's a few more good things MTV has done: *From Fonechic: On 1/16/98 when Jennifer Love-Huitte (i can't spell) was on MTV live she and Carson Daly was talking about How hanson was a good group and when puberty comes around they still will be cute (Jennifer kept saying how cute they were she said it around 50 times) but their music may fall......Carson didn't say one bad thing about them.
*From Lazer: Yesterday i was watching MTV live, and they were asking people to e-mail them stating their hero. one boy wrote that it was hanson, and carson was like, "that's cool. they're a good band, and they'll be around for a long time."
