New Scouts and More Trouble

A'Sivera looked through the portal at the small planet below her. She thought it interesting that she had to attack such a weak planet for power. But her advisors Renne and James and told her that this was the place she would find the Golden Crystal and the Stellar Crystal. She sighed happily at the thought of the power she would receive when she had the crystals.

A'Sivera had the Silver Crystal all ready, in the form of Eternal Sailor Moon. The other scouts she had captured only to insure Sailor Moon's fixed position in the dungeons. She wouldn't leave without her friends, and the Queen had taken special precautions to keep the scouts there. Each was in a special cell, eliminating the chance of a teleport. Sailor Pluto was in deep sleep, so she couldn't and wouldn't move for quite some time, or until she was woken up again. The other scouts had been much easier to deal with. A'Sivera snickered. She would be the most powerful ruler the Negaverse had ever known! That is why she called it the Mega-Negaverse. She cackled some more and decided to taunt the prisoners, and tell Sailor Moon of her resent discovery.

Down in the dungeons, A'Sivera kicked Sailor Moon's white boot until she woke. When Serena saw who it was, she closed her eyes again.

"What do you want now, A'Sivera?"

A'Sivera relished the despair in Sailor Moon's voice. Knowing her folklore, A'Sivera had heard of how Beryl had taken the handsome Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon's true love, and brainwashed him. It was tacky, but it worked. Unfortunately, Sailor Moon was able to cure him with her love and overcome Beryl. A'Sivera was going to rub insult and injury together, and create enough friction between herself and Sailor Moon to cause Tuxedo Mask to notice, come and try to rescue Sailor Moon, but then get captured himself. A'Sivera's quick mind had figured out the plan on the way down the steps. "I saw something today that might interest you."

Sailor Moon looked up. "I greatly doubt that. You told me that we were out of my solar system, so how would I know anything or anybody out here?"

Suddenly a thought struck her like a lightening bolt. Under her breath, she gasped. "Darien!"

Seeing realization dawn in her prisoner's eyes, A'Sivera grinned. "Actually, I saw Tuxedo Mask, with two other Sailor Soldiers. I'm afraid to say it, but I think he may have given up on you Milky Way scouts. From what I've seen, the Andromenda Scouts look a lot more powerful. And one of them has the Stellar Crystal, which is even more powerful then your crystal and Prince Endymion's crystal combined! I will so powerful!" She started laugh maniacally again.

On hearing this news, Sailor Moon lost all her remaining hope, or so it seemed. She slumped her shoulders and a little tear ran out of the corner of her tightly closed eyes. She sobbed dramatically and broke down bawling.

Seeing her prisoner in total despair, A'Sivera laughed and ran up to her rooms again.

Down on the planet's surface, Sailor Star and Sailor Comet battled with Tuxedo Mask, who had started getting a lot tougher on his pupils. "Come on ladies! A rose bud doesn't bloom until it tries to open its petals!"

Sailor Star looked at him. "Does the bud have any control of its petals? I mean, is that physically possible?"

Tuxedo Mask rolled his eyes. "Just keep working, will you?"

Star and Comet grinned at each other, and continued working.

Venus, Kyrria, and Treenie wandered down mall's many hallways and window-shopped. Venus sighed impatiently. "Are you sure she wasn't at home?" She asked Kyrria.

Kyrria looked at her and rolled her eyes. (When Kyrria rolls her eyes, her whole head goes with them, so it looks kind of strange. Anyway, back to the story!) "Do you realize how unlikely it is for me to be wrong? I didn't think so. I told you before, Venus, I called her house approximately 5 times, and she didn't answer. Looking at this data, I conclude she is not home at the moment."

Treenie looked at her with wide eyes. "How do you sound so smart? Everytime I try, I sound like me trying to act smart!"

Venus rolled her eyes. "Duh, dillwad. Kyrria sounds smart because she is smart. Even I knew that!"

Kyrria couldn't resist a smart comment. "Even."

Venus glared daggers at the smart girl and suggested, "How about we go to the park and watch the ducks or something. Anything but this!"

Treenie and Kyrria agreed and they started towards the park.

In the park, Sailor Star and Sailor Comet watched Tuxedo Mask closely. "Now, ladies, you need to remember to keep your eyes on the target and then-"

He threw his cane and it sank with a satisfying thunk in a tree about a hundred meters away. Comet sighed impatiently.

"Well, that looks easy enough. Let me try."

She stood and held her staff in the middle. Sighting down the bar, she focused on the tree and threw it as hard as she could. It flew through the air and made a really neat whistling noise. It landed right on target, and almost split the tree trunk in half.

Tuxedo Mask looked at Sailor Star. "All right, Star, your turn."

Star stood up and sighted down the staff, just as Comet had done. She took a deep breath and threw the staff as hard as she could. It went wildly off target and buried point first in the soft dirt of a tree a few feet away.

Comet taunted the girl. "What's wrong, Star? Not having a good day? That is the easiest move to do, and you can't do it! What a wimp!"

In truth, Sailor Star was having a bad day, and Comet had just put more than a little salt on the injury. "Well, Comet, I am not little Ms. Perfect! I am having a bad day, and you really aren't helping any! So I'll leave you two to contemplate how well the Andromenda Scouts will work without Sailor Star! I quit!"

And with that, she sprinted off through the trees, leaving Sailor Comet and Tuxedo Mask calling after her.

A'Sivera watched them train and saw Sailor Star run away. She thought this was a perfect time to attack. So she did. With her hand, she beckoned forward another monster.

"Get over here, now, Slimilon."

When the monster was next to her, the Queen pointed to the portal. "See those two humans? Well, I want you to attack them. Bring them both here, because the girl has a crystal, and the guy is a hottie. Do you understand?"

The creature nodded and vanished into the portal.

A'Sivera watched it reappear in front of the humans and wrap both of them in slimy rope.

Tuxedo Mask gasped in surprise and shock as a huge thing magically appeared in between Sailor Comet and himself. He was doubly surprised and extremely grossed out when the monster wrapped him and Comet in some kind of rope made of slime. The monster sucked enough of their energy out so they couldn't fight, and disappeared back into the Negaverse.

Sailor Star was, by this time, half way to her house. She stopped when her physic connection to Comet was cut off. She remembered when she asked Darien about the link. He had said that every Sailor Scout is connected like that.

So when she suddenly felt the absence of Sailor Comet in her mind, Star immediately turned around and ran back to the scene she had just left.

Seeing no one around, Star felt guilt take over and her grief wracked her body. Why couldn't I have just put up with Comet a little longer? Why are they gone? Where are they?

Then a thought struck her like a lightening bolt. Why don't I teleport to where she is, Star thought to her self.

She closed her eyes and concentrated. The Star Staff began to glow in her hands. She was jerked out of her state of unconsciousness by a tap on her shoulder.

Star whirled around, afraid of another attack from the enemy. Instead, three girls stood in front of her. Venus, Kyrria, and Treenie. The tall blonde was grinning like an idiot. "Hi! Are you Sailor Star? You look like her. Is that the Star Staff? Wow, it's shiny, and sharp." Sailor Star practically had to slam her arm to her side to keep it from whack Treenie up side the head with her staff.

"Yes, I am Sailor Star. Now please leave me, for you are giving me a headache." She said through clenched teeth.

Venus, who had finally worked up enough nerve to speak, asked, "Where is Sailor Comet and the hot Tuxedo Mask?"

"That's what I am going to find out. Please leave me!"

"Oh but we can't! I feel strangely connected to you! We must help!" Kyrria exclaimed.

"How 'bout, no?" Star snapped. She waved her Staff and focused. She vanished. Unfortunately, Treenie's hand was still on her shoulder, Venus was holding Treenie's elbow, and Kyrria was leaning on Venus. All four of them vanished.

Tuxedo Mask sat up and rubbed the back of his head. He immediately regretted it. He had a goose egg the size of Mount Everest on his head. Sailor Comet groaned and sat up a few seconds later. They were shackled to each other and were sitting in front of A'Sivera's throne. She grinned at each of them. "Welcome to my humble abode, Sailor Twits! Do you know how long you have thwarted my glorious plans?" She asked.

Sailor Comet couldn't resist. "Approximately three weeks."

"That was a hypothetical question, brat!" The Queen screeched. "And for your insolence, you will be punished. No food or water for ether of them until I tell you differently." The last sentence had been directed at Renne, the Queen's advisor.

"Yes my Queen." She said and bowed. Looking at the prisoners, she beckoned.

They levitated off of the floor and followed behind Renne. Sailor Comet tried running away, but running in thin air is not possible, which she found out.

After they had been thrown into the cell, Sailor Comet began pacing. Tuxedo Mask watched her for a few minutes, and then closed his eyes and leaned his head back on the wall.

"Please stop, Comet! You're giving me a headache."

She scowled at him. "Yeah, well what else am I supposed to do? Juggle my staff?"

Down the hall a voice called to them. "Darien? Is it really you?"

Tuxedo Mask jumped up. "Serena?!"

A heart-wrenching sob escaped into the hallway. "Oh Darien! You were our last hope! Now you're stuck in here with the rest of us, an ---"

"Shut up, Serena!" Sailor Mars growled. " You are not helping the situation any!"

"Yes, well, it's all up to Sailor Star now." Sailor Comet sighed.

As she spoke, Sailor Star appeared, followed by three other girls. She held her head for a moment, as if she was dizzy.

"Are you alright, Star?" Tuxedo Mask asked anxiously.

"Yeah, I think so. How are you guys?" She said, looking at the bars incredulously. "Where are all of the guards? This is a prison, right?"

"Darned right, it is." The voice of a peeved Sailor Jupiter answered the last question. "And we would really appreciate it if you would let us go."

Star grinned despite the dire situation she was in. " All right. Sailor Moon, where are you?"

"Here!" Serena said, poking a finger between the bars of her cell.

Star jogged down to the door. She looked inside and saw the mighty Eternal Sailor Moon reduced to almost nothingness. Serena was still beautiful; shining between the dirty rock walls that surrounded her. Star set her mouth in a grim line and focused on the lock. It broke with a snap, the energy beams shutting off.

"Sailor Moon, protect these girls and free the rest of the Scouts. I'm off to find A'Sivera."

"Good luck, Sailor Star." Was all that Serena could manage to say to the brave girl that would save the universe.

Star slowed her sprint down to a stealthy walk as she rounded the corner. She took several deep breaths to calm herself down. Why was she so worried? Gee, could it be because she had to save the universe from total destruction? Yeah, that might possibly be it. She crept down the twisting corridors, following nothing but instinct. She trusted herself. Finally, after what seemed like hours, she approached a large pair of double doors. She felt anger at these people, for Tuxedo Mask had told her that Renne and James, the advisors, were probably brainwashed into serving A'Sivera. How dare she take away a person's memories and thoughts and freedom? Star clenched her teeth in order to keep from screaming in rage.

She took a deep breath, and charged the double doors. She screeched to a halt when she heard many footfalls behind her. Star whirled around, and was surprised to see all fifteen Sailor Scouts running towards her. She grinned and said, "Hey, glad you could make it, but I want to do this alone."

"Star, we want to help you!" Sailor Moon said. The other scouts tried to persuade her too.

"Well, I do need help with these stupid doors, so if somebody could -" She was cut off as all of the scouts focused their own special powers at the door. The murmur of attacks swept the room.

"Moon Crystal -"

"Mercury Ice Crystals -"

"Mars Burning -"

"Jupiter Thunder Clap -"

"Venus Beam -"

"Chibi-Moon Heart Crystal -"

"Uranus World -"

"Neptune Deep -"

"Pluto Dead -"

"Saturn -"

"Comet Flame -"

"Andromenda Star Whip -"

"Europa Powderpuff -"

"Aurora Light -"

The three new scouts contributed as well, though the attacks they sent were not nearly as powerful or accurate as the more experienced scouts. In fact, Sailor Andromenda (Treenie) almost took off Star's head.

Then the rest of the attacks were murmured. "Power! Beam! Mandala! Zap! Smash! Attack! Shaking! Submerge! Scream! Silence! Beam! Crack! Blast! Laser!"

Needless to say, the doors didn't stand a chance.

Star beamed at the other Scouts and sprinted through the door. She saw A'Sivera start at the intrusion. "Wha -, who-, GET THEM!" She stammered in rage.

James and Renne swept at Star, but the other Scouts immediately distracted them.

"Get the Queen, Star! We'll handle these rejects!" Mars called over her shoulder.

Star advanced on A'Sivera. She had a smug smirk on her countenance, and had come off her throne to meet Star half way.

"So, Sailor Star. We finally meet."

"The pleasure's all mine!" Star growled.

A'Sivera laughed. "Oh, yes. And now it's time for you to die!"

A bolt of lightning shot out of her finger tips. Star jumped over it, and landed, gearing up for attack.

"Star Crystal Po-"

She was interrupted when the Queen came crashing in to her, knocking her to the ground and sitting on her. A wild blast from Treenie's whip distracted her, causing her to look up. Star took this moment to throw A'Sivera off, and power up. A'Sivera, realizing she need protection, created an energy bubble around herself. She then started her defenses. Star was all set to go.

"STELAR CRYSTAL POWER!" She screamed.

The bolt of pure energy surged at A'Sivera. The Queen blanched, and then disintegrated into a pile of smoldering ashes.

Sailor Star didn't do much better. She collapsed in a heap. Sailor Comet and the other Scouts rushed over. Sailor Moon cradled Sailor Star's head in her lap.

"Why did you risk yourself for us?" She asked, tears leaking out her eyes.

Star looked at her and made a quirky grin even Tuxedo Mask would have been proud of. "Sacrifices must be made." She said.

And then Sailor Star, leader of the Andromenda Scouts, closed her eyes and died.

"NOOOOO!" Comet screamed in agony. "Star, ol' buddy, ol' pal! Wake up! Please, wake up!" Seeing no response from the still form in front of her, Comet collapsed into a soggy heap of tears. The other Scouts bowed their heads and cried silently. Comet's wails could be heard echoing throughout the cavern.

Tuxedo Mask sniffed and wiped a few tears out of his eyes. "Well, Sailors, what a way to go."

Comet gave a might sniff, and said, "Yeah, she was always a glory hog."

"Back away from the body, all of you." Sailor Moon demanded.

The other scouts looked at her in surprise. "Why?" Europa asked.

Sailor Moon gave her best LOOK. "Because I said so, that's why."

Making Eternal Sailor Moon mad was not the best thing to do, so the other scouts backed away from the body and watched.

Sailor Moon picked up Sailor Star. She calmly walked over and set her on a raised table made of marble. Taking off her gloves, Serena took the Silver Crystal out of the locket. Tuxedo Mask and Chibi-Moon joined her and took out their crystals as well. Sailor Moon closed her eyes and focused. The other two did the same. Slowly, the magic took effect. Sailor Moon was transformed into Princess Serenity; Tuxedo Mask to Prince Endymion; and Chibi-Moon to Small Lady. The crystals began to glow stronger, and suddenly the beam that had been building crashed down into Sailor Star's chest!

Warm, white light coursed over Star's body as her Crystal retracted it's energy. It it's place were normal street clothes. Serena focused her energies on the life of her new friend, as Tuxedo Mask focused on wiping out the memories. Soon, when Serena was close to exhaustion, Toni's eyes fluttered open, and she drew a ragged breath.

"TONI! Are you okay?! We were so worried!" Comet rushed over to her. Toni looked at her funny.

"Do I know you? I am having the strangest feelings that I've seen you before."

Comet stopped. "You . . . you . . . don't know me? But . . ." She looked at Tuxedo Mask. He shook his head.

"I erased her memories. And now," he turned to Chibi-Moon. "She will erase yours."

Chibi-Moon nodded and closed her eyes. A glow erupted from between her hands. The light washed over the Andromenda Scouts. The only thing Reenie didn't erase was the feeling of kinship between the girls. The other Sailor Scouts concentrated and transported the now normal girls back to their world.

"Toni? Brittoni McCloud! Get up right now!" Toni's mother screamed from the kitchen at her 16-year-old daughter. Toni groaned and sat up. She looked at her alarm clock and jumped up. She jumped into the shower and washed herself quickly. She then scrambled around her room to find her clothing. She put on a short purple American Eagle dress and platforms that matched. Brushing her hair out, she tucked some sunglasses behind her ears. She ran down the stairs and sprinted out the door. On the way to school, Toni saw her other friends.

"Hey Branwen! Looking fashionable as ever, I see." Toni greeted her best friend.

"Oh, you know it!" Branwen laughed. She was wearing a blue t-shirt with a rainbow on it over a long sleeved white shirt, boy-style, baggy khaki cargo shorts, and Nike sneakers.

The girls chatted about hot guys, new movies, hot guys, the mall, hot guys . . . .well, you get the point.

The major thing, or person, on Branwen's mind was a boy named Justin. She kept raving on about him. Toni gently teased her on her choice of guy by howling and calling him Mr. Woof Man. Treenie and Kyrria caught up with Branwen and Toni while Toni was howling. Treenie, not being the most observant girl in the world, thought Toni was choking. She slapped Toni really hard on the back, and almost made her trip.

Toni glared at the tall blonde girl. "Gee, thanks, Treenie." Across the street, a girl was walking alone. She had on a bright yellow dress, and she was hard to miss.

Kyrria saw her. "Venus! Hey Venus! Over here!" She called waving her arm wildly.

Venus jogged across the street. "Hey guys." She said to the girls. She turned to Treenie. "Oh, hi, dillwhack."

Treenie stuck her lower lip out and started to pout. "You aren't very nice, Venus."

"You just now noticed? My gosh, you're observant."

The conversation was interrupted yet again by another addition to the group. A girl with bright green hair walked up. "Hey guys!" She greeted.

"Hey Renne!" They answered and continued arguing about who was the cutest guy in school.

High above the city, the Sailor Scouts watched the scene from a skyscraper. They used their magic to allow them to listen to theconversation. Sailor Moon looked at Tuxedo Mask. "Will they ever remeber? I mean, they don't have guardians like we did."

Tuxedo Mask sighed. "They will be reminded of the past when they are needed."
