Andromenda Scouts-Toni's Story by Sailor Star

Toni rolled over and slammed her hand down on her alarm clock, which was ringing loud enough to wake the dead.  Of course, that was the whole point. She groaned and rolled over and, since she had overestimated her bed's size, rolled off and on to the floor.

"Toni, are you awake yet? And what was that loud noise?" Toni's mom yelled from the kitchen.

Toni pulled herself up on to her elbows.  "I'm alright, don't anyone panic.  It was just me falling off the bed!"  She made sure her mother heard her last statement.

Crawling off the floor, Toni made her way to the bathroom and started a typical morning at the McCloud house.

As she made her way down stairs, Toni was pushed out of the way by her little brother, Brian.

"Don't you have any respect for your elders?" she yelled after him.

Toni's family had been on vacation, and Toni had missed the first days of school. It made Toni so mad-now she had TONS of homework to do, plus the principal was going to hate her forever. 'Oh well...' Toni thought. Her vacation had been worth a few days of make up work.

On her way to school, Toni saw one of her friends' ex-boyfriends.  She waved at him and he came over.  He look kind of beat-up, considering his eye was blue and he had a splint on his nose.

"What happened to you?" She asked, holding a tissue up to her face to hide a smile at the look that came across his face.

"You know that weird girl?  You must know her.  Her parents died when she was little?"  Nick prodded Toni's memory with details.

"Oh yeah, I know her.  She is weird.  "She never talks to anyone, except Matt, and she is always in fights.  Isn't she the one that T.J. likes?"

Poor guy, Toni thought, he has no idea that she is not interested and I'll bet that she will beat Nick and T.J. up, if she hasn't already.

They walked up to the school building and entered the office to get Toni's class schedule for the new year.

Toni walked over to her locker and spun the dial of the combination.  It clicked as it hit the last number and swung open.  She glanced down at the piece of paper she held in her hand.

She felt a tap on her shoulder and she whirled around.  In front of her stood the girl that had beat up Nick-Branwen.

"I am supposed to share lockers with you." She said.

"O-o-o-kay.  My name is Brittoni McCloud, but you can call me Toni. What's your name?" Toni stuttered, even though she already knew the answer.

"My name is Branwen.  Is this our locker?  It's teeny!" She said as she shoved her book bag in without a care at what was under it.  Toni caught her breath.  She couldn't stand a messy locker, but she didn't want to end up looking like Nick, so she let it stay there.  "What do you have first period?"

"I have science first.  What do you have?"  Toni said.  Branwen wasn't so bad.  Now if she could just stay on her good side . . .

At lunch that day, Toni sat with her little group of friends and exchanged gossip.  Looking out over the crowd, Toni saw Branwen eating with her little group of friends under a tree.  Considering the fact that she still had a head (because Branwen hadn't bitten it off as expected), Toni picked up her lunch and went over to the tree where Branwen sat.

"Hey, Bran.  What's up?"  Toni said as she took a bite out of hersandwich.

Branwen looked at her and cocked an eyebrow.  "Bran?"

"Yep, Bran.  You didn't expect me not to give you a nickname, did you?  I am the Nick-Name QUEEN!"  Toni said, and burst out laughing at Branwen's facial expression.

"Yeah whatever you say."  Branwen said, shaking her head.

Hearing Toni laugh, Nick looked around for her.  She wasn't so bad. Actually, he kinda liked her.  She had great hair, eyes, and a spellbinding smile.  Looking over at T.J., Nick could seethe hurt in his eyes when he looked at Branwen, so he made up his mind right then.  Grabbing T.J.'s hand, Nick pulled him over to where the two girls sat.

"Hey ya, ladies.  What's up?"

"Nothing that you should worry yourself over." Toni said as she saw the look of murder go across Branwen's face.

*****Note to the reader-this sounds suspiciously like the first time that Serena and Lita met, but remember, Toni and Branwen don't know anything about their past lives! ~ Sailor Star****

Totally ignoring the hint that Toni gave him, Nick plopped himself down and pulled T.J. with him.  "Are you girls doing anything tonight?"

"Why do you ask?  I know I'm just doing any homework that I get, but I don't know about Branwen." Toni answered, looking hopefully at Branwen.  Even though Nick was not looking his best, he still was probably the cutest guy at school, and the nicest one at that!

Branwen looked over at Toni, and seeing her big blue eyes so full of hope, she couldn't let her down.

"I guess I don't have anything to do tonight." She said.

"Alright!  We can all go see that new movie at the theatres and get a bite to eat.  It'll be great, don't you ladies worry."  Nick said.  T.J.'s eyes were wide with amazement.  As they walked back to where they had been eating, T.J. leaned over and whispered in Nick's ear.  "How did you do that? Branwen didn't even touch you!"

Nick sat down and said, "It wasn't me who kept her off, it was Toni! Didn't you see her eyes?  Branwen would just have to be cruel to disappoint her with a puppy face like that!"

As the group walked home from the movies that night, they heard a strange whirrrrrrring sound behind them.  Nick and T.J. spun around to face a horrible monster.  Toni screamed.  Standing protectively in front of their girls, Nick and T.J. gasped in horror as two long tentacles came out of the monster's sides, and wrapped around them.  They turned an odd shade of pink and then were dropped to the ground mercilessly.  The monster then looked at Branwen and Toni.     "Run, Toni!" Branwen cried. "I can hold her off!"

She felt a firm hand on her arm. "Not without me, you can't!"   As Toni said this, a sign began to glow on her forehead.  It was a five-pointed star.  On Branwen's head, a comet like sign lit up.  A bright light covered both of them and they vanished.

Toni sat up, and began looking around.  "Where am I?  Branwen?  Hello? Anybody?"

A voice came out from the light.  "Welcome, Star."

"My name is not Star, it is Brittoni."

The voice seemed to laugh.  "Of course it is, my daughter."

Toni was getting annoyed, but curious. "Who are you?"

"I am your mother, Star, don't you recognize my voice?  I suppose not.  I will explain your past, and your future.

A long, long time ago, there was a civilization that lived on a plant called Earth's moon.  It was called the Moon Kingdom.  The Queen was named Serenity, and she had a daughter named Serena.  They lived in peace and happiness.  One night, they held a party.  I thought it was a good chance for you to mingle with the out-of-galaxy people.  Andromeda Galaxy was known far and wide for its prosperity, so you were invited, along with your four friends-Princess Comet, Princess Andromeda, Princess Europa, and Princess Aurora.  So all of you went to that party.  That was the fateful night that Queen Beryl attacked the Moon out of her jealousy of Princess Serena and Prince Darien's love.  Everyone on the Moon perished, including you.  But Queen Serenity wasn't done.  She sent everyone into the future.  So here you are, my darling Star.  Grown up enough to help your fellow princesses.  The princesses of that galaxy need your help.  They have been captured by a extremely strong Negaforce evil.  You must go and find Tuxedo Mask and he will help you train."

In front of the thunderstruck Toni, a small star necklace charm appeared.  A silver chain soon materialized into the ring of the charm.

"Simply say the phrase-Star-Prism-Magic! And you will transform into the famed Sailor Star, leader to the Galaxy Scouts.  Good-bye, my darling.  Do your family proud!"

A bright flash of light appeared, and Toni landed right in front of the monster.  The scene looked exactly the same.  It was as if time had stood still.  Recalling the name of a certain Sailor Soldier that could do that, Toni looked up to the sky and muttered a small thank you to Sailor Pluto. Her attention was drawn down to the monster, which had begun to laugh.

"What is your problem?" Branwen asked.

"Did you -" Toni started to say.

"Yep.  Let's see if these puppies work!"  She held up her necklace and said, "Comet Power!"

Deciding that that wasn't a bad idea, considering that there was a huge monster in front of her, Toni held up her necklace and said, "Star, Prism, Magic!"

Colored lights flashed in front of Toni as she was enveloped in a ribbon of shimmering purple light. She watched as the 'ribbon' replaced her clothes (which actually were long gone) to form boots, a really short skirt, skin tight leotard, sailor collar, ribbons on the front and back of her suit, and hair ribbon.  The last thing made was her tiara, which was made out of pure silver.  The purple gem in the middle shone briefly, and then Toni, now Sailor Star, was posing in front of a gleaming star background.

The monster looked up in surprise.  Those innocent looking girls had transformed into super-heroines!  "Who are YOU?"

Toni raised her hand, which was now incased in a smooth white glove. "I am Sailor Star, Protector of Teenagers with hidden pasts, and all the other people all over the World!  And in the name of the Star, I will punish you!" (During the whole speech, Sailor Star had been doing a strange little 'dance'.)

"Yeah, and I am going to help her!  I am Sailor Comet, and I would say the same thing that she just said but I don't want to!  So there!  Get ready for takedown!"  Comet hadn't done a 'dance' as complex as Star's but it still looked odd.

"Ohhhh, I am soooo scared!"  The monster cackled and flung two long tentacles at them.  Both girls jumped up and over them.  Using her staff, Sailor Comet chopped the tip off.

Comet smiled, "Scared yet?" she asked the monster.

Sailor Star looked at her with her eyes wide.  "How'd ya do that?"  she pointed at the staff.  Comet looked very smug, and explained.

"Ummm, oops, I forgot." Branwen said with a little smirk on her face.

"Bran-, I mean Comet!  Tell me!" Star stamped her foot like a horse.

"Just call upon it."  She grinned at Star, envisioning steam pouring out of her ears.

High over head, a masculine voice rang out.  "You girls are all most as bad as the ones I know!  Stop bickering and work together!  Sheesh." He was masked and was wearing a black tuxedo, with a long cape and cane.

Star looked up and gasped.  "Are you Tuxedo Mask?"

"He's just wearing a Tuxedo and a mask, but I don't think he's Tux." Branwen rolled her eyes and looked smug. Star looked kind of sheepish.

Tux jumped down and threw some roses at the monster, which had been slinking away while the girls had been arguing.  "And where do you think  you are going?" Tux asked the monster.

It turned around.  "Uhhhhh, I don't know . . . Bye!"  She vanished down a sewer drain.

Star turned to Comet and glared at her.       "What?"  Comet had a look on her face that was extremely comical.

"I am trying to figure how Chris puts up with you."  She turned around and started to stomp off.

"And where are you going, young lady?"  Tux asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"I am going home, thank you!"

"Not in that suit, you aren't!"  Tuxedo Mask looked very disapproving. He sure is hot, Star thought.

"You have to power-down first.

"And how, pray tell, do I do that?" Star said, with her hands on her hips. She glared at Comet, who was rolling on the ground because she was laughing so hard.  "And what is so funny?"

Comet grinned. "Here we are, dressed in totally weird clothes, talking to a guy dressed up in a tuxedo and throws roses, and he won't let you go home in that suit!"  She burst out laughing again.

Star looked at Tux and raised an eyebrow.  "Anyway, my 'mother' told me to find you so you can help us train for . . . something, she didn't specify. So do you have any clue what she could have meant?"

He looked down.  Star thought she saw a tear in his eye, but he brushed it away before she could be certain. "Yes, you girls are supposed to fight a new evil, called the Mega-Negaverse.  They captured the Sailor Scouts from this galaxy.  They - "

Comet burst into laughter again, "Mega-Negaverse? How original!" Then she suddenly stopped all traces of laughter gone.  "ALL THE SCOUTS? Even the Outer Scouts, Pluto and Saturn, and Neptune, and Uranus?  And -"

"Moon?" Star's eyes were wide with disbelief. "They got all of them?"

Tux nodded.  "Even Sailor Chibi-Moon."

Star snorted. "Darn." *Voice Dripping With Sarcasm*

Tux looked up angrily.  "What's that supposed to mean?"

Star looked flustered.  "Well, umm, I didn't ever like Chibi-Moon."

"And why not?  You do know that she is my daughter, don't you?"

Star was getting annoyed at Tuxedo Mask.  "Look, Darien, I don't like her because, in my personal opinion, she is a spoiled brat who gets everything she wants and she is so stuck up she twists around the truth to make herself feel better about all the rotten, spoiled things she does!"

Comet and Tuxedo Mask had paled.  "Ooookay . . ."

"Let's go, Comet.  Star Power Down!"  Toni stood in the street.  She looked pointedly at Comet, and turned around on her heel.  She soon vanished down the street.

"Well, you had better catch up with her." Tuxedo Mask said, as he too powered down.

Changing back, Branwen reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper.  Scribbling something down on it with a pencil, she handed it to Darien.  "Here, this is where you can contact me."

"Okay, thanks.  Be prepared to practice a lot.  I won't be as a teacher as Luna, but I can try.  See you tomorrow."  He turned and hopped into his little red sports car.  It vroomed off.

Sighing, Branwen started home.

*************

The next day, Toni was walking to school.  She was reading a really good book and walking at the same time, so she wasn't watching where she was going. She suddenly smacked right into somebody's side. "Owww!  That hurt!"  Toni rubbed her butt, which she had landed on unnecessarily hard.

"Is it something with Scouts running into me?  Especially the leaders?" Darien was rubbing his rib cage.

"Who said I was the leader?  Let Comet lead.  She is a born leader." Toni grumbled.

"What?  Did somebody call the Comet?"  Branwen joined up with Darien and Toni.

Toni turned her nose up at Branwen.  "No, one called for you!  Everyone was just getting along just fine before you showed up."

"Well, gee, thanks, I am so glad I showed up.   Maybe I should just leave you guys alone."  Branwen stomped away.

Darien glanced at Toni. "What was that for?  She was just trying to be nice. You were kind of mean to her."

Toni sighed. "I don't know what's wrong with me Darien.  Do you think it could have anything to do with the fact that I am a super-heroine who is expected to save the world and some other super-heroines?  I'm am only 16!  I am a junior in high school!  And where did you come from?  Since when did Earth charter space transports to and from the Andromeda Galaxy?  How did you get here?"  Toni was getting suspicious.  Her eyes narrowed as she faced him.

He suddenly looked nervous.  "Well, I keep forgetting that you aren't stupid like Serena.  Well, before the Scouts were captured, Sailor Mars predicted that they would be caught, so they sent me to the place where the girls who would save them dwelt.  They used the Sailor Teleport.  So, I'm here to train you and help save the Scouts.  Is that a good enough explanation for you?  Or do I have to get really specific?"  Darien was mad now.

Toni sighed and held up her hands defensively. "Chill out!  Okay, I understand now.  Sorry about all those questions.  I am just so confused!" She sat down on a park bench and put her head in her hands.  Darien sat down beside her.

"Look, Toni, you need to get to school.  I understand how you feel.  I felt the same way when I first was able to turn into Tuxedo Mask.  I mean it is awfully strange to hate philosophy one day and be spouting it the next."  He laughed. "Anyway, can you meet me and Branwen at her house tonight?  I think I am going to start your training."  He stood up and waved.

It struck Toni as strange.  Who waves with just two fingers?  Oh, well.  That's okay.  If he wants to wave like that, he can go ahead. As she sprinted to school, she hoped Branwen was there so she could apologize.  She got there late and had to sign in the office.

"Why are you late, Brittoni?" the secretary asked.

"My alarm clock didn't go off at the right time, so I got up late, and then I dropped my briefcase, and some stupid dog ran off with it, and then -" The secretary didn't let her continue.

"Yeah, right." She handed her a pass. "Just don't be late again."

"Yes, ma'am."  Toni sigh and dumped her stuff in her locker, and ran down the hallway as fast as her school uniform let her. As she eased the door open of her first hour class, she saw Branwen turn around and glare at her.

The teacher raised both eyebrows. "Glad you could join us, Toni.  Please, grace us with your presence."  Toni blushed furiously.  All the boys in her class started to snicker.  She glanced at the guy who Branwen hated.  He was laughing with the rest of the class.  She turned her gaze away from Nick.  The only person who wasn't laughing was a guy that was kinda cute named Tom.  She sat down and listened to the Professor drone on and on about the chemical solutions that made up the atomic bomb.  She wondered if they should teach that kind of thing in a school.  She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote Branwen an apology note. She signed it ~ Sailor Star ~. She put it in her back pocket and tried to stay awake.  At the end of class, she walked up to the teacher and asked for her homework.  After she had the assignment, she hurried out and went to her next class.  She shoved the note in Branwen's book.  She hadn't come to the locker yet, so she would have to come pick up her book.  She was going to wait for her, but decided not to because her class was a few stories down. She shut the locker and hurried off.

As soon Toni was out of sight, Branwen turned around the lockers and went and got her book.  Stuffing the note into her pants' pocket, she grabbed her stuff and went to class.

At lunch, Toni went over and sat down next to Branwen.  She immediatly stuffed her face with her sandwich. "I forgive you."  Branwen said, her green eyes full of sincerity.

"Really? I am sooooo sorry for what I said.  Darien talked to me.  I bet he thought he was helping, but actually, the only thing the did was make me feel like dirt."  Toni said giving a weak smile.

Branwen shrugged. "Are you coming over tonight?" "Yeah probably." Toni said as three girls walked over.

"Hey, Branwen, who's this?" "Oh, yeah.  Toni, meet Treenie, Venus, and Kyrria.  They are my other friends."

"Hi." Toni said, smiling.

They smiled and sat down.  The 5 girls were soon chatting like they had know each other their whole lives.  Toni felt especially connected to the strange girls who she had just met 'I wonder why I feel so attached to them?' Toni shook her head. "Hey are you guys doing anything tonight?" Branwen asked.

"No, I don't think so." Kyrria said.

"I don't have plans, but I don't know if I am doing anything or not . . ." Treenie said. She looked extremely confused.

"Duh, dillpickle." Venus said as she rolled her eyes.

"Gee, aren't you clever, Venus." Branwen said and all the girls burst out laughing, except Venus.

She humphed and said, "I thought it was funny."

"That's what you think." Toni said.

"Hey, look, Tommy, or whatever your name is, I don't have to take that kind of thing from you!" Venus said.

"Oh, really." Toni said, all amusement gone from her face.

Just before they got into a real hissy fit, Branwen intervened. "Girls, girls!  Is this how we treat our friends?"

"Yes, when they are being butt-heads." Toni smirked. "As in Venus's case!" She burst out laughing.

"Grrrrr, oh you are sooo goin' to pay for that!" Venus said as she launched herself at Toni.  But before she got within inches of Toni's face, Branwen's hand abruptly stopped her.  Venus was thrown backwards by Branwen's unwieldy arm.

"Owwwww!  That hurt, Branwen!" Venus whined.

"Brannie, be gentle!"  Treenie howled.

Branwen looked around anxiously.  "I told you not to call me that in public!" She looked at Treenie to see if she had gotten the message.  What met her eyes was not what she expected.  Her small group of friends had been switched with four hysterical hyenas.  She began to pout. "Well, fine.  I hope you people are proud of yourselves!"

Toni was leaning on Kyrria as they walked into the building for their next class.

********************

At about 6:00, Toni finished doing her homework.  She looked down at her watch, expecting the time to be around 5:00.  She screamed and flew out of her room, nearly plowing into her mother, whose arms were full of sheets. Toni wasn't so lucky the second time.  She actually ran over her brother. She grabbed her coat and sprinted out the door. "Ooooooooohhhhhhhh!  Why today?  Why?  I am sooooooo late!"  She said as she ran at full speed all the way across town. When she got to Branwen's apartment building, she leaned over and gasped in breath.  She then ran up the 5 sets of steps, into the building, and into the elevator.

The bellhop looked at the disgruntled girl who had just flown in. "What floor, miss?" He asked.

"F-f-f-fifth, please."  Toni said as she sank into the comfy bench cushions of the elevator.  The bellhop pushed the button and the elevator slowly started the climb up to the fifth floor. Toni looked around impatiently.  "Can't this thing go any faster?! I am already half an hour late!"

The bellhop looked at her disapprovingly. "It's not my fault your late.  You will get there soon enough." Five minutes later, the bell dinged and Toni ran out of the elevator at top speed.  She stopped at Branwen's door and rang the bell.  She heard some giggles from inside and Branwen opened the door.  Toni saw a very disapproving look on Branwen's face, but Treenie, Venus, Kyrria, and Darien were cracking up.

Toni walked into the front room and sank into a chair.  She heard Branwen shut the door and say, "So glad you could make it, Toni.  You are only half an hour late!"

"Hey, be easy! She hasn't broken the record.  Sailor Moon was usually an hour late, forty-five minutes minimum.  So chill, Branwen!" Tuxedo Mask laughed with this strange little chuckle.

Branwen gave an if-looks-could-kill look to Toni and settled into a chair on the opposite side of the room.

"Well, I am so glad you could make it ladies, but I'm going to have to ask you if you could leave. I need to talk to Toni and Branwen alone." Darien said, all traces of laughter gone.

Venus frowned and looked up at Branwen. "Why did you invite us over if you had them over first?"

Branwen shrugged. "Sacrifices must be made."

Venus groaned and fluttered her eyes at Darien. He sure is cute! She thought to herself as she stood up and stretched, showing off all of her curves. "Well then, I'll leave you three alone. Have fun!" She said and swept out of the apartment. "Okay!" Kyrria agreed to the bet and leapt after Treenie.

Darien sighed and looked at Branwen. "Why did you invite them over when I told you I was going to start your training?" He asked accusingly.

"Well, I . . . I mean . . . I," Branwen stammered, a blush creeping up her checks.

Toni's jaw dropped. She had never seen Branwen blush. She grinned and giggled. Darien grinned, too. "Well, ladies. I hope you two are ready to work hard!"

Toni raised her hand like she was in school. Darien cocked an eyebrow at her. "Yes, Ms. McCloud?"

"Um, how are we going to train without any monsters or anything?"

"You will try to beat me of course!" He said and laughed at their faces.

"You're kidding, right?"

Tuxedo Mask threw a rose at Sailor Star. She easily dodged it and sent a blinding flash of light his way. The light was actually part of the attack she was powering up to do.

"STAR SUPER NOVA!" She screamed and a blistering hot ball of light and fire appeared and raced at Tuxedo Mask. He leapt out of the way, dodging the ball of energy and at the same time roasting his cloak to cinders.

He looked at Sailor Star and gulped. "I didn't know you could do that!"

Sailor Comet looked impressed. "With an attack like that, why do you need the staff?"

Star staggered and immediately both Comet and Tuxedo Mask were by her side. "What's wrong? Are you weak?" Comet asked.

Star shook her head. "Just got dizzy, that's all."

Tuxedo Mask looked at intensely. She blushed under the scrutiny. "That was your most powerful attack. That's why it drained you so much. You should only use that when it is desperately needed. Like when we rescue the scouts."

"Well, I'd have more choices if a certain someone would tell me how to get my staff!"

While the two new Sailor Scouts practiced for the next monster, a new evil face watched them through a portal. She was tall, and thin, and wearing a black leotard. It didn't leave much to imagination. Her legs were incased in dark blue hose, and she ended the ensemble with knee-high boots. She threw her shoulder length, lavender hair behind her. She laughed maniacally, and beckoned a monster over. "Are these the girls that attacked you, Tentcruelia?"

The monster looked through the hole in space and nodded. "Yes, my Lady, those are the girls. They are so strong, but they don't work well together."

The woman laughed again. She whistled through her teeth, and a large black dragon slunk forward. Lifting her high on his head, the dragon spoke. "Where to, my Lady?"

She sighed happily and stroked his large flat head. "Take me and Enemilia to the place where those girls are, will you please, Scorch?"

Enemilia walked hesitantly towards the dragon, and Scorch carefully picked her up in one of his heavily taloned claws. Crouching his great dragon legs, Scorch lifted off the dark, Mega-Negaverse ground and flew through the portal.

Through another smaller mirror, Renne watched her Lady go. She sighed in relief. She kicked her feet up on the vanity table and tried to think up another pitiless scheme for her master. The Queen of the Mega-Negaverse was strict and powerful, and Renne feared her. But without her, Renne thought smugly, the Universe would come crashing down on her Queen's head. She giggled at the thought.

"Does the Lady know that you are indulging in fantasies and not planning the next attack?" A male voice asked from the darkened corners of her room.

Renne whirled around. "James, didn't I tell you to knock when you wanted in? Didn't I?" She demanded. He grinned at her and her gray eyes softened. "What do you want here?"

He shrugged. "Just to see my one true love, is that okay?"

She sighed happily as he began massaging her shoulders underneath her rich dark green hair.

Renne was only the Queen's advisor because she was not of royal blood. When the Queen dies, however, she would be Queen. She closed her eyes and envisioned herself in royal garb. Her short black skirt and boots would be the same, only covered in gold leaf designs. A crown would rest on her head, and a robe on her shoulders. Then she would finally be able to marry James, the other advisor. She fell asleep with James still massaging her shoulders and lovely dreams running through her head.

Down on Earth, the Queen had sprung out of the air right over the Scouts' heads. Tuxedo Mask gasped at the huge maw of the dragon, and the ugly thing in his claws. Star and Comet gasped and immediately took up the battle mode.

Without thinking, Star reached toward the sky. "Star Staff, I summon you!" With a blinding flash of light, the Star Staff thundered down and landed point down in the ground, on the far side of the monster!

Taking a running start, Star did a front handspring and vaulted over Enemilia and grabbed her staff. Twirling around, she saw Comet shoot a bolt of energy at the monster. It staggered, but didn't fall. Star powered up. "Star Light Beam . . . BLAST!" She yelled and a yellow beam of energy shot out of the point of the staff, blowing the creature into stardust.

Meanwhile, Tuxedo Mask had been throwing roses by the dozen at Scorch. The Queen, who thought he was throwing them at her, got a dreamy look in her eyes. "He likes me! He really, really likes me!" Blowing a kiss at him, she vanished back into the Mega-Negaverse, taking the monsters with her.

Comet was laughing so hard she had to lean on Star. Star was laughing even harder and fell over, taking Comet with her. Both girls rolled on the ground gasping for breath because they couldn't breathe. Darien turned bright red, but then started to laugh himself.
